  2. Being a supernatural creature, I'm not exactly a believer. I don't believe in the existence of heaven or hell, although if they do exist, I'm definitely going to hell. I don't believe in life after death either, mostly because I'm scared that if life after death does happen, I'd be hunted by bazillion souls of those I had killed.
I don't know what happens to hybrids' souls when we die. Some say we just fade away while others say that we don't even have a soul. A soul gives you a good quality and we are anything else but good.
It doesn't matter, actually, what I believe in because whatever it is that will happen to me when I die, it still wouldn't be something good. Although wandering alone for eternity sounds a little bit better than being burned.
But there is always a light when you die, whether it's at the end of the tunnel or surrounding you like fire. That light is the only reason why I opened my eyes that time with a scream.
"Shut the hell up!" I heard someone say to me, its tone gravely and annoyed.
When I realised that the light I saw was from a light bulb, I calmed down. I blinked several times, adjusting my eyes to the bright room, before asking, "Where am I?"
"The red room of pain," the voice replied. Then he laughed and laughed.
I couldn't understand the humour so instead I just grunted. Sitting up, I saw a figure standing at the corner of the room, just staring at me happily. Zachary.
Rage boiled inside me again and I stood to lunge at my traitorous creation. Then I realised I was bounded in chains. "What the hell?" I yelled to him. "Chains? Let me go!"
Zach laughed again. "I did tell you it's the red room of pain. Capitals."
    "Let me go, Zach!"
"Oh, come on, Sierra. You know that's not gonna get you anywhere. I mean, isn't that what all your victims said before you drank all their blood?"
Damn it, I thought to myself. Caught in my own bloody game.
Grinning from ear to ear, Zach stooped in front of me. "Look, I'm not gonna hurt you," he said in a whisper. "After all, you're my creator and I need you alive for me to stay stronger."
"Then why did you try to kill me?"
He cocked his head to the side. "Haven't I told you? The hunter you made me kill is my father. I was putting on a good show is all. I didn't actually kill him nor I would kill you."
    "Why wouldn't you?"
"Because I need you alive, Sierra. Geez, keep up, will ya?"
I didn't. Instead I spat on his face. "Screw you."
Zach hadn't reacted like what I thought he would react. He just glared and walked away after wiping my spit off of his face. "Try to coorperate, Sierra. Remember that I'm the key to your survival."
    "You bloody wish."
"Of course I bloody wish. You need me. I need you."
"I can just burn this building down, you know that?"
The smile he had was disturbing if not devilish. Strolling casually towards a metal door, he said, "You think I haven't thought of that before? Don't be stupid. I may look like your average teenage boy but there's nothing average about me."
    "I notice."
Zachary laughed. "I find it funny that you can still be sarcastic when I have this behind the door."
When he opened the metal door, I gasped. A slumped body was leaning against a wall and an inch away from his chest was a pointed metal. It was suspended dangerously close from his heart that if he had twitched, it would stake him.
"What are you doing to Caleb?!"
"It's time for Chemistry 101, oh, the almighty hybrid. What happens when you heat up a metal? It extends. In this case, what happens if you try to burn down the building? Your boyfriend here will get a metal in his heart and die."

  3. Okay, I just realised that I made a mistake. It's supposed to be:
"I find it funny that you can still be sarcastic when I have your life in my hand."
    "Glad I amused you."
"I wonder what your pretty lips would say when I reveal what's behind this door."

And then it goes on and on.

  5. Um, yeah, I was just wondering if anyone still reads this. If not then I'll gladly resign. This story is getting really cliche after all. If yes then I'll happily continue. Just bear with the cliche-ness though until I figure out a plot twist.
    S'later.

  6. Just read it all haha loooovvve it

  7. One person. I need at least three people wanting me to continue because I'm a needy human being.
Haha, no, seriously. I need three.

  8. Uh. Well. Uh. Me. Hi. :3

  9. I read it. It's well written, and even though the plot's starting to seem a bit cliche, it's still very good. I hope you'll continue it~ :)

  10. I got three people so I'll happily continue this.
This is kinda an unplanned story, which explains why it's so cliche. I'm glad you all like it though. I'll figure out a plot twist so pardon me if I've gone AWOL.
