There are many people who go on campus for stupid things, and i hope they take the time to read this guide as to help them understand why they get silenced every time they open their mouths. Enjoy. Tutors: Open vollies- No one wants to "volley your tutor". people on pimd arent interested in open vollies from campus, so please ask someone you know and save your speakers Self vollies- No one wants to volley you either. your stats are terrible and you need to do jobs and farm inactives. being volleyed should not be your source of income, and frankly it makes everyone else feel used. with that said, instead of askin for a volley, how about you earn one by jobbing and farming for your upgrades. also, if you are "ready to upgrade", why dont you do it? why would you need the extra million? no, you ARENT ready to upgrade. another thing: dont say "hire me, i know how to upgrade. we hope you DO know how to upgrade, as it is common sense. if you need any help, ask your current pupil for it. dont go begging on campus. volleys are earned. so please, stay off of campus and save your speakers. Hiring tutors- No one usually wants to buy your tutor. most of the time, they are inactive and grossly overpriced. cut your losses and drop them. please dont say "they are active and upgrading now". 1, if they are active, why sell em? 2, if they are upgrading, why sell em? if you are going to lie to everyone, atleast make it logical. so please, stay off campus and save your speakers. Third-Party Apps: Third Party Apps- im actually astonished by how stupid you think our mods are. they are trained to catch stuff like this. and, no one wants to talk to you on your little app, so save yourself from a silence and refrain from advertising. do you seriously believe no mod will notice you space out the letters or put periods in between them? come on! if your little "buddies" can see it, trust me, mods can too. so please, stay off campus, and save your speakers, and save yourself from a silence. Pimd Relationships: Bf/Gf's- why do you think you will find a decent, loving partner on PIMD? this is a GAME, not a dating site. if you want a relationship, go outside and go meet someone. please dont advertise on campus. another thing, if you just HAPPEN to find "the one", dont make it because you gave her a lollipop gift. relationships arent bought, just saying. so please, stay off campus and save your speakers. RP- this is a sensitive topic. there are many RP clubs that dedicate to healthy rp, such as Mideval Dragon Fighting or whatnot. then, there is the kind that tends to get you silenced for advertising on campus. im talkin about the one that gets you silenced. no one wants to rp with you, if you need help with a relationship, please refer back to the previous selection. so stay off of campus, and save your speakers. Clubs: Recruiting- dont spam campus with your club recruiting. most of us who are on campus HAVE a club, so please dont advertise. sure, there are wannabes out there who like to club hop, but if you need to advertise admission, your club probably isnt good. so stay off of campus, and save your speakers. Parties- theres a HUGE difference between parties. there are some that are worth helping, like Art Skool and Art Skool Pro, and Hipster Pro (the list of worth-while parties is subject to grow), and if you cannot complete Counter Culture of Prank Primer or any of those other really easy parties on your own, you need to disband your club and focus on growing so you can join a GOOD club. also, do not post on random people's walls askin for party help, that will only get you blocked. so please, if you are going to request help, make sure the party is worth helping. if not, stay off campus and save your speakers. Buying/Selling a club- this one is obvious. if your club is that bad, you dont need to own it. just disband, and join a better one. i personally think that aquiring a club is too easy, they need it to cost more or have a kcs requirement. also, do not ask some random people to make you a club. clubs are for growing, and if you are small stat, you are unable to help people grow. so please, stay off of campus and save your speakers. Spam: Spam in General- do you really think you are 'cool' by posting the same word over and over again on campus? 1, you just blew all of your speakers. 2, you just got super silenced. no one wants your messages clogging up campus, so please, stay OFF of campus and save your speakers. Hate Spam- dont we all love seeing that ONE person go off on campus? you know what im talking about. when they start spamming with bypassed curse words. that stuff gets ya silenced, ya know. and you'll probably have a lot of trollers mock you on your wall. so save yourself from a silence and the embaressment, and stay off of campus and save your speakers. There are many ways to get silenced or hated on Pimd. So please, before you click the send button, ask yourself "will this get me hated, ignored, or silenced?". if the answer is yes, please refrain from sending anyways. you will stay unsilenced longer and probably be less hated. Also, please do not bash mods for your silence, they do a good job keeping Pimd free of pervs and little kids. if you have been silenced, take it up with ATA. mods have done their job well so far. so if you got silenced, its your own fault, not theirs. I agree with most except tutor trading. I seldom sell overpriced tuts. And I always state the price and kcs for everyone to decide whether they want or not
its not that selling tutors and trading tutors is bad, but please correctly advertise. instead of saying "hire my tutor, he/she is very active and upgrading right now", when we can look at their wall and see the 'long ago' posts, they could say "hire my tutor, he/she is inactive and this is my pathetic attempt to rip you off".
