  1. Everyone has heard of the infamous December 2012 “End of the World”. A few even believe it. But what if there were undeniable evidence that it was coming? What if the government organised a way for humanity to survive it?

What if there was a downside? What if only one person from each family could survive?

The Remainders will rebuild society, greater and more wonderful than ever before. They love art, music, poetry - they want culture to thrive and bloom.

The Endurance are bandits. They will take expeditions into the ruined cities, ravaging the buildings of anything valuable that has been left by the dead, and stage frequent raids on the Remainders.

And then there’s the lost, those who don’t choose a side, because they can’t … or simply won’t.

The world as we know it is gone. A new world is amongst us. How will you survive?

Shy-nervous or timid in the presence of other people, but once you start talking to him and he feels that he can trust you he's an open book.

Lucas wasn’t the most outgoing or talkative, kid. Most kids at his school barely knew his name. He didn’t talk unless spoken to. Lucas had a younger sister who everybody loved. Lucas felt so inferior, especially since his parents gave all their love and affection to his sister.

A month or so before the end Lucas' sister was killed in a car crash. Lucas eventually found out that his sister had committed suicide. Lucas was devastated and felt horrible because his sisters had her whole life ahead of her, and was never given the chance to truly live it. He eventually chanelled his guilt into tattoos.

Extra: He always carries around a backpack, which inside it has: A black Carhartt beanie, a notebook, a photograph of his parents and a packet of American Spirit cigarettes and a lighter.
