It was late into the night when Onew and I returned from our walk, the SHINee members light snores, echoing through the hallway. Onew smiled at the flustered me, "You can go wash up, I'm going to go right to bed." I nodded absentmindedly and stared at his back as he took his shoes off and walked to the bedroom. I tousled my damp hair with my lavender coloured towel, the edge of my pyjama bottoms brushing the floor. Swish, Swish. I blushed at the though of sharing a bed with Minho. My heart thudded in my chest at the thought of 'Our first night'. I mentally scolded myself as to why I thought about that. I walked slowly to the bedroom door, as if a monster would jump out and eat me. I chuckled. 'I wonder what would happen if the news of me staying here got out.' Another chuckle. Sucking in the. Cool oxygen, I placed my hand on the metal door handle and opened the well made door, not letting out a creak at all. My feet slided across the cool wooden floor as I made my way to the bed farthest from the door, the bottom bunk. 'Of course it's blue.' I think. The duvets bright baby blue stood out in the dark of the room. I breathed in another breath and finally building up the courage, laid down on the comfy bed. Feeling that the area was cool, she smiled. 'Minho is so sweet, he purposely left half the bed for me.' Not that I was complaining whether he did or not, the bed was huge.
I placed the covers over me slowly and as I did my foot touched his leg. Sparks flew throughout my body. My soul nearly flew out of my body as it shrieked. 'Calm down Kari, calm down, it's just a coincidental touch. "So, you're finally here." A deep candy sweet voice whispered. I nearly jumped out of my skin, that's 10 Years shaved off of my life, I think. "Oh...ummm....you were up?" I ask, my squeak of a voice calling out. "Uh...Yeah...I couldn't get to sleep...so I figured I'd wait for you..." My heart picked up speed, now I was sure that he could hear it. "Ah...oh...umm....thanks?" "No problem...I guess..." I prayed to all the gods that I could think of, 'Please don't let me do something stupid.' I hoped. His luring voice suddenly broke the awkward silence. "Um....if you don't mind, could I ask you a question?..." "Y-Yeah sure..." He inhaled a deep breath and let it out again. "Why are you eyes blue? And exceptionally bright blue at that..." He asked. It hung in the air like a bomb over my head, about to drop. "I-I mean, you don't have to answer, I'm sorry, you know, just asking....sorry for butting in..." I giggled quietly, calming down a bit and feeling completely carefree. "Well, my father was from Germany with blonde hair and bright blue eyes, my mother was Korean, and yeah...I guess? And it's okay, lots of people ask me that." I let out a sigh followed by another giggle. I felt giddy. "Oh...I see..." "Yeah."
Once again an awkward silence consumed the dark atmosphere. "Let's go to sleep now." Minho suggested. My heart lept. 'He used "Let's"!!! I was included too...heehee.' I felt another warm wave of giddiness overcome me. "Oh, of course, let's." I woke up the next morning, buried in Minhos muscular and also BARE chest, his arms keeping me in a warm embrace.
