This thread is completely based off of a movie trailer, so I suggest you watch it so you feel a bit more informed. The trailer isn't for Catching Fire, or even The Great Gatsby, it's for The Purge. The Purge is a movie that introduces the audience to a much better world with less unemployment and a much lower crime rate. The reason behind this is known as "The Purge" For 12 hours, all crime is legal, and there will be no consequences to any actions performed during the 12 hours. So, I propose two questions for those who are interested; 1. If this was real, would you commit and crimes? If so, what are they? 2. Do you having a lower unemployment and crime rate is worth having a day of "The Purge"? I'm a bit interested to hear, because I'm sure there will be completely different opinions.
I'm not a person to go against the law by nature, not because it's against the law but because it's against my principles... I won't steal because I couldn't look myself in the mirror knowing I now own something that someone else probably worked hard to buy. I won't hurt someone intentionally, because I find no pleasure in causing others pain. I could kill though... Even if there was no purge... Touch my loved ones... And I think I could kill...
Hm, 1 i am so going to see this. I would possibly try and murder 200 people that have urked me forever. And, honestly, I would love if this was real. Most of my friends are dead due to crime.
Casper I haven't read it either... Not have I seen the movie... (If there's a movie... If there isn't, there will be soon enough... Look at twilight and 50 shade of grey...)
I wouldn't... But I'd like, work all year as many shifts as possible just to buy like a 5 ft thick metal wall all over my house just to protect myself All sides and the ceiling
I'm gonna murder my nemesis and I'll snatch all Apple products, break down on the HQ of Apple and get all the prototypes. Hide away in my secret base where anyone wouldn't see me , kill me, capture me.
