.-. In the "laws eyes" we are suppose to be equal, however, we really aren't... Eh, I quit, don't feel like typing. Have fun.
Mona, your answer is interesting. Claiming we are all born equal as humans. But that is corrupted when born into the world and society. Makes me believe it to be a little religious an answer.
I left it at only the word equality. I never said what kind of equality. There are numberous ways thus can be approached and " agree" or " disagree" can both be right.
We aren't born equal. I wasn't born equal to what the duke and duchess of cambridge's baby will be and neither is 99.9% of the population. It could be stupid, pig ugly and yet will most likely still be king/queen one day. Hardly equality is it?
I'm an atheist... No religion in my answer... I believe in human kind. We are all born equally human. Let me ask you a question... Do you think a poor mother will suffer less if her child dies at birth than a rich mother? Do you think a black mother will suffer less if her child dies at birth than a white mother? Do you think an atheist mother will suffer less if her child dies at birth than a Muslim mother?
Some people are born with defects or handicaps that affect their quality of life, so we aren't all born equally in that regard. For example, when I was born, I required an operation immediately so that I could stay alive. Without that operation, I wouldn't be here today. Another example, my friend Marissa from elementary school way long ago... She was born with cerebral palsy. She has never really been in control of her muscles. She can't look someone in the eyes. She can't speak. She can't walk. After years of physical therapy, she can wave her hand to some degree. We're not all born equal.
Because you never said equal to what... I stayed with the fact that we are all born equal, we are all born human beings... After... Well after it all depends on many things and the case isn't the same... We are born equal, we lose that equality the second after we are born.
All would suffer. There is no telling who would suffer less. Most if not all mothers would suffer at the death of their child at birth.
I bring up the question to see who can bring intellectual points to a conversation. Especially about a controversial topic. Mona is winning
I agree with Monazita. We are all born equally as human beings. The quality of life is not equal. Very great intellectual topic
All would suffer... The question isn't equality... A child is a child, and it's equally precious to its mother/father no matter the background... Now if the oldest son of prince Charles dies... More people will cry compared to the death of the oldest son of John Doe... But it's still 2 human beings that die...
Why have brains when you can't do anything with it (moving heavy objects for example) Why have brawn when you can't think qbout what you're doing (punching someone in the face for example)
I gotta admit... A good brawl is fun to watch from time to time... But damn... Using the brains is so stimulating!!!
