  6. Anya, it's to remember those who gave their lives defending Australia and New Zealand.

  7. Oh ok yes bless them thank you Casper

  8. I had to google it. We in other countries sometime forget that others have paid the ultimate sacrifice for their own countries.
As a former U.S. Army Cav Scout my heart goes out to the fallen....past, present and future.

  9. Until foot posted I didn't realise. We have Remembrance Day in November in the UK. That said, we should always honour those that fought alongside us <3

  10. It is a special day for us over here and the younger generations are really embracing it these days, it's especially special for my family because my children's great grandfather fought in ww2 and he still marches on Anzac Day

  11. Wonderful to honor those who came before and fought for the freedoms we enjoy. Good on you, foot. 

  12. Good to see that the younger generations are still learning about what happened and not having it hidden away to avoid hurting feelings as is happening here.

  13. Yea. In America we learn absolutely nothing about non American holidays or special events (years K-12). Thats one of my many reasons for disliking this country i live in.

    RIP.
