My door burst open with a loud 'thud' and in came a crying Sarah. Oh no! What happened to make her cry? Sarah never cries. I have found that out over the past two earth months. I gently set down my brush that I was using and put it on the nightstand. There was something wrong with Sarah correct? So I must help her yes? "Sarah what is wrong? You look like the moon sprouted rain clouds!" She smiled lightly and collapsed onto my bed"EVERYTHING IS WRONG CURIOUS! I CAN'T BELIEVE HE DID THAT! WHY ME? WHY NOT A B**** WHO DESERVED IT?!" I gasped and covered my mouth. Sarah said a bad word... She was angry for she never says a bad word. "Dear Sarah! Oh how I pity you! It must be that Alex boy yes?" "Yes Curious it was him. That no good, two timing, sick, little lying b******!" I widened my eyes at the new Sarah that has been awakened. Something bad has happened for Sarah was always calm and collected. She never got curious and asked questions like me. "Sarah, if I may ask, what did he exactly do to you?" "HE CHEATED ON ME! WITH AN UGLY OLD WHORE WHO WORKS ON THE STREETS," she cried. I winced back in pain. What was this feeling inside me? It feels like a hundred meteors crashing into me. "Are you okay Curious," she asked quietly. "Yes of course. Now to solve your problem...." and I snapped my fingers. The boy named Alex appeared who was holding his new girlfriends hand. He looked around confused"How did I get here?" "I brought you. No one ever does. I walked into the 'backyard' and looked around. It had 'flowers' and 'grass' everywhere. I saw a bright pink and gold glowing object farther into the back. What could that be for there was no one out here except for me. I walked curiously to the bright colors and what I saw shocked me. It was a little girl! She was floating in the air! I wonder if she came from the moon to? She might have brought a gravity device for earth has made me weigh much more. "Hello little girl! Are you from the moon to?" "Not exactly Curious." How rude! The gift of truth! She shall not lie and shall not hide anything! She must always tell the truth!" "NOOOOOO," I screamed helplessly as the magic entered me for I knew this gift was more of a curse. I couldn't do a thing on my own or hide any thoughts. "Yes my dear child. I told you this was a special gift. Now to test it! Do you love your gift? And say your answer while hopping on one leg!" She got up and began hopping on one leg"No I hate it," She said unwillingly while trying to stop hopping. She sounded so rude but couldn't do a thing about it. "One last command my dear Curious. You will not tell anyone that I gave you these gifts. Oh and the next time you see mommie tell her I said hi," and with that she was gone. I screamed and fell on the ground crying. How could she? How could she ruin my life that I just started?! What did I do to her?! "CURIOUS?! CURIOUS WHERE ARE YOU?!" I cried and yelped out"Over here!" Why must I talk when I don't want to? Why must she make me this way? Why?! "Curious what is wrong?" It was Will and he has just activated the gift again"She came and she gave me the most awful gifts Will! She ruined my life!" "Who did?" I screamed as a terrible pain shot through me"I... Can't..... Tell...... You," I managed to say between screams. "Curious why are you screaming?" "The pain! It hurts," I cried. "What gifts did she give you?" "The gift to obey and the gift to tell the truth," I cried. "Oh no Curious you poor thing!" "I am not poor or a thing!" "Sorry now let's take you back in. Maybe you can eat something?" I nodded and he picked me up and helped me back inside. 2 YEARS LATER "No don't," I screamed. "Oh but Curious I think you and I both know that I am going to," Will smirked. He held up the spoon of 'pancake batter' and threw it at me. I screamed as it got all over my face. "WILL!" "Yes," he asked innocently. "Do you mind telling me why you threw this stuff on me?!" "It's pancake batter and it's because you were being mean!" "No I wasn't!" "Yes you were!" "Yes I was being mean and I am sorry," I said but not wanting to. "Ugh I hate that curse! We can never joke around or anything," he complained. Confused correct? I will help you yes? Well after that day I got the curse every one kept a close eye on me and decided that I should live with one of them for the time being. Sarah went off to live with her new mate or 'husband' as she calls it. She didn't want me to come because it would ruin her new mating although she didn't say that and made a random excuse. Ms. Holly was getting to 'old' but I say that one can never get old. You agree yes? I think she was making an excuse to though. Will happily agreed to letting me live with him because I was 'fun' as he put it. Right now we are trying to make the earth food called 'pancakes' but he keeps throwing the batter at me. "Hurry up Will! I'm hungry," I whined. Suddenly there was the sound of a big bell ringing throughout the palace or 'house'. "I'll get it you lazy person," I yelled as I skipped to the door. "Hello is this where Curious lives," a boy who looked my age asked. "Why yes it is! And who are you?" "Honestly Curious! Do you not remember me?" "Ben?!" "OF COURSE IT'S BEN!" I screamed excitedly and hugged him. Ben was my study partner in moon schooling. He came over every other day and taught me what they did him at moon school. My parents thought it would better if I got a direct moon school tutor from my class. Later we became best friends. Will came running in looking quite worried"Curious whats wrong?!" "Oh sorry to scare you Will! You have met my friend Ben here correct?" "Unfortunately," Will growled under his breath. "Don't growl! That is quite rude!" "What ever is the matter," I asked politely. "Ben here has came and tried to... Visit you a while back. I kicked him out though because he was being a complete a**," Will said still glaring at Ben. I gasped"WILL! WE DO NOT USE THAT LANGUAGE!" "Sorry Curious," he murmured. "Oh how rude of me! I must bring you in! Come in ,come in!" I let him through the door and led him to the living room. We all sat on the couch and I sat between the two boys wondering what happened between them. "So Ben what brings you here? I thought were on the moon correct?" "I was. I came looking for you when you left." "Oh! Well I am glad you did!" "Me to," he chuckled" There's also another thing I needed to talk about." "Yes?" "Well I was wondering if you wanted to...." I will never know the end of his sentence because Will jumped and screamed"DON'T YOU DARE DO THIS," at Ben. "I HAVE TO," he yelled back. "Hide behind the couch Curious! NOW!" I forcibly walked behind the couch and watched the two of them bicker and when I was about to fall asleep I heard something. "I'm in touch with your fairy aunt Curious. I'm sure she would be delighted to see you," Ben laughed darkly and NOT evilly because he is not evil! "NO," I screamed"KEEP HER AWAY FROM ME," I cried. "Curious... Was she the one to give you those curses," Will asked quietly. I wanted to answer with a simple yes but pain shot through my body as I shook uncontrollably. "YOU B******," Will yelled and everything happened so fast. Wills fist went flying into Bens face and he pinned him against the wall and kept punching him. Bens face was bloodied and broken but he disappeared , using all the strength he had left in him. Will came running over to me and jumped over the couch. "Are you okay Curious?" I shook my head 'no' for the pain kept running through my body. "Help... Me... Will," I choked out. He nodded and picked me up and carried me to his room and sat me down. He ran and got some cold water and cold rags and made me drink all the water before making me lay down and placing all the rags on me. I woke up to a light being shined in my face. How rude! Turning the lights on while someone is asleep! "Hello Curious," a dark, not evil, and recognizable voice said. "Ben," I murmured half asleep and trying to open my eyes but the lights were to bright. "Could you please turn the lights off? I can't open my eyes!" He laughed darkly, still not evilly, and turned them off as I readjusted my eyes. "Where am I?" "Why you are in Wills room of course!" "Oh. Then what are you doing here?" "Will let me in!" "I thought he hated you? Why would he let you in?" "I have my ways." "Okay..." I heard a slight groan come from downstairs. What was that? Was that Will?! "WILL?!" I got up and ran down the steps and to the living room. There Will was lying on the ground with a pool of blood around him. I gasped"Will are you okay?!" "Curious.... Don't listen to a word that Ben or anyone else says besides me okay? Just listen to me," he whispered in a horse voice. "I will only listen to you Will," I agreed but it didn't matter because I would have to do it anyway. I heard Ben run down the stairs and stop as he saw me by Will. He should be helping yes? "Ben! You must help me! Please! Please call the human medical advisors! Or the 'doctors' as Will calls them. Please Ben! He might die!" "I hope he does," Ben spat. Why was he being so rude? What happened to the Ben I knew? He slowly walked towards me with an evil, yes I said evil, smirk on his face. Ben was evil.... and I fell for his stupid tricks. "Ben please...," I begged in a quiet voice. "Ben please," he mocked in a girly tone"Ben please what?" "Please... I was your friend... Don't hurt me... Please... Help him and I will go willingly with you." He thought for a moment before smiling"Deal." He then proceeded to use an earth device that lets you send talk messages to people and allow them to talk back to call for help. I think it's called a 'phone' but there's also 'telephone' so it is one of them. While he did that I silently walked over to Will and kissed his cheek"Goodbye Will." When Ben was done with the call he grabbed my hand and we appeared to a different living quarter. "Okay Curious, I need you to walk down those stairs and handle... A little friend of mine. His name is Tom and he owes me money. Go get the money." "I.... Can't....," I whispered through all the pain that went through me. "Wrong answer Curious," he growled before slapping me across the face. I didn't make any noise because I didn't want him to feel satisfied with himself. I don't know how long I will be here but I know that if it keeps up like this, I will be in extreme pain! ~~>~~>~~>~~>~~>~~> WILLS P.O.V It has been weeks since Curious went missing and I can't find the d*** girl! The police won't help because they can't find records of her anywhere. Of course not dumb b******! She isn't from the earth! "WHERE IS SHE," I growled in frustration. "Calm down," my mom whispered from her couch. "It will be fine. I'm sure we will find her," Sarah said softly. "IT WILL BE FINE?! SHE IS F****** MISSING!" "Calm down," my mom whispered once again. "CALM DOWN?! CALM DOWN?! NO I WILL NOT CALM DOWN! WHAT IF A GIRL YOU LOVED WENT MISSING?!" "Relax Will! We all love her as much as you!" "NO YOU DON'T! I LOVE HER AND I'LL NEVER GET TO TELL HER IF WE DON'T FIND HER!" "Y-you love her," Sarah asked in surprise. "Yeah and I'm going to find her," I murmured and walked out the door leaving a house full of shocked people. I walked down the icy roads wondering why this had to happen. Curious doesn't deserve any of this. She is one of the sweetest people I will probably ever meet and now I may never see her again! She could be dead for all we know! Then what would the man and woman on the moon say when they found out I lost their daughter? They probably wouldn't be to happy. I continued walking down the road, looking desperately for any kind of sign to show where Curious was. Then it hit me. No literally, a snowball hit me in the back of the head. I turned and what I saw made me gasp and I couldn't breath. This couldn't be real... It isn't! I must be hallucinating but I called out anyway. "Curious?!" "Miss me," she asked with a smile. "Your not here... Your not real..." "I am real Will! You see me don't you," she said angrily and Curious never gets angry and always says yes or correct after something like that... Something's up. "Your an imposter. Where is Curious?!" "I am Curious! I am not an imposter! Yes you believe me yes correct yes?!" There it was. I knew the fake had just proven they weren't really her but why were they pretending to be her? "Who are you and what do you want?!" "I want you Will." "WHO ARE YOU?!" "I am your worst nightmare," and with that the thing ran at me with sharper teeth out and super speed. I blacked out right after she touched me and the last thing I remember seeing was an unfamiliar house. CURIOUS P.O.V "PLEASE STOP," I cried as the knife once again cut my once perfect skin. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?! PLEASE STOP," I begged. "I am doing this because I can," Ben hissed. "That's not a good reason and you know it Ben," I reasoned or at least attempted to. "That's not a good reason," he mocked "It is a good enough reason so don't you dare question it!" "AHHHHHHHH," I screamed as the pain traveled through my body. The pain of me not being able to listen. "Please Ben," I said after the pain stopped. We went through this everyday. I wouldn't cry or stutter though. Not once have I let him be satisfied with what he was doing to me. I wouldn't allow it. "WHY DON'T YOU JUST GIVE UP ALREADY?!" "Because I have something worth trying for," I said calmly. "Oh yeah and what's that?" "I know Will, Sarah, Ms. Holly, and Charlie from another state will come and find me. They will rescue me and you will be sent somewhere you deserve to be at." "HA! YOU THINK THEY'RE COMING FOR YOU HUH?" "I know," I stated matter of factly. I knew I would be punished for this later but I didn't care. He dug the knife through my calf and I hissed in pain. How could he do this? He was supposed to be nice correct? "Maybe this will remind you of what you really are," he hissed while edging closer to my face. I could smell the bad drinks in his mouth that I think earth people call 'alcohol' and it didn't smell good at all. He put the knife on my cheek and began forming letters. It hurt but I didn't make a single noise or lower my gaze from him. I am not weak. "There. This will remind you that you are UNWANTED!" I gasped as I felt my cheeks and they had a big cut that spelled unwanted and had blood dropping slowly from the wound. Just then a girl walked in who looked just like me and said"I've got him sir." Who does she have? What do they want with him? Why is he here? Are they going to treat him like they do me? Ben chuckled evilly and whispered"Excellent. Untie him and bring him in." The girl nodded and went out the doorway only to return seconds later with a body. The black hair made me instantly recognize who it was. "WILL!" His bright green eyes stared into my grey ones. He looked shocked but relieved at the same time. "C-curious?!" "It's me Will! It's me! Are you okay? Did they hurt you? How were you captured? You were supposed to be at home yes?" "I was looking for you Curious. I am so sorry I let this happen! Oh no! Look how skinny you are! Do they even feed you? YOU STUPID B******* DON'T EVEN FEED HER?!" "Will I'm fine! I don't need to eat! Everything is fine! It isn't your fault!" "ALRIGHT ENOUGH WITH THE CHIT CHATTING YOU IDIOTS! PUT HIM OVER THERE!" The girl threw Will in the opposite corner of me and then left with Ben to go who knows where. "Will," I cried as I crawled over to him. "Curious," he breathed out. I guess he put up a fight on the way here because he wouldn't be out of breath correct? "Oh Will! What have they done to you? Are you okay? They shouldn't have took you! You always have a weapon on you yes?" "They didn't do anything and yes I am okay. I am glad they did take me because I wouldn't have found you and yes I do." "There is a door over there! Can you open it?" "Can't you just appear out of here?" I gaped at him"I am so thick headed!" He chuckled"Well let's leave then!" I grabbed his hand and we appeared out of the door because Will said we needed some kind of 'address' and that we needed to call the 'police' on a public 'telephone'. Once Will memorized this 'address' that he spoke of, we went to the 'telephone' box on the side of the grey walkway. We squished into the box and Will picked up the talk thingy and put in some numbers before speaking into the phone. Soon I saw some bright red and blue lights flashing on top of a white cloud as it sped down the black walkway. Will explained that these were 'cop cars' but I still think they are clouds. We ran down the black walkway and to this yellow cloud that Will called a 'taxi'. As soon as we sat down I hugged Will and began to cry. All the tears I had held back before came out and I couldn't do anything about it. Will hugged me tightly and let me cry into his chest while he whispered reassuring words over and over. After a couple of minutes he lifted my head up and whispered"Everything is going to be okay. You and I are both here and that's all that matters. We're safe now Curious. It will get better. I promise." All I did was nod and hope that he could keep his promise. Sarah had told me that Will was going to love me and always keep his promises to me before I moved in with him before giving me a talk about earth 'romance' and 'relationships' but I just hope she's right. When we arrived back to the house I jumped out and ran to the door as fast as I could. Those moving clouds scare me! Will walked up behind me laughing and opened the door for me to walk in. When I did ,Ms.Holly and Sarah came to me and hugged me and cried and sputtered out random words before leaving a couple hours later. When they left, I walked outside and into the pouring rain. I didn't care that my dress was clinging to my skin or that my wet hair fell into my face. All I cared about was trying to contact the moon. I stared into space for what seemed like hours until a wet hand was put on my bare shoulder. I looked up to see Will. "Curious, you are going to get sick. I don't want you to be sick after everything that has happened. I was worried about you." "Why?" "Because Curious, I care about you." "Why," I questioned further. I wanted to know if he loved me like Sarah said. "Because... I love you curious." "I know." "...How?" "Sarah told me."
