Before the disappearance of Elizabeth Enders in 1892, the town of Mineral was a quiet, peaceful haven located in Northern Ireland. For people to start over; for people who never really fitted in. Many years have passed since that horrible day and all of the years in between have only seemed to bring more tragedies and more problems to the small town. Mineral is no longer the same place it once was. Rumors fly about curses, ghosts, and psychics although most of the residents have a tendency to just brush it off. Many families residing in Mineral have been plagued with a series of unfortunate events, each one more tragic and more unexpected than before. Skeptics dismiss the happenings as bad luck; others believe it is curse, haunting not only the families who have resided in Mineral for years, but anyone who takes over the properties after the previous owner’s untimely deaths. It is now the year 1956, and the events occurring in Mineral seem to get stranger every day. Are ghosts real? Do curses exist? It’s time someone in Mineral found out. Full name: Lucia-Luna Smith (Luna) Age: 10 Appearance: Personality: Shy, sweet, timid, calm, can be feisty, has learnt not to trust anyone. Background story: When she was 8 she lived with her parents and older brother in a small shack house that was falling apart. At the age of 9 she was being forced to work just so her family could get food. On the night of her 10th birthday she heard a scream coming from her parents room so she ran in to see what was going on. When she opened the door she saw a demon sucking the lives out of her families limp bodies. She screamed and the demon flew out of the bedroom window leaving behind the destruction that it had caused. Since then she has been living in a run down part of the town where she has nearly been killed twice. She still tries to find her brother hoping that one day they will be reunited. Events that have affected her: Watching her family die. Extra: Has an English accent.
Dovile Oliviski 33 Dovile is motherly and kind, and always has a soft spot for children. She loves animals, and hates watching people hurt themselves. When she fell pregnant at just twenty-one, her husband walked out on her and her baby. She lived with her parents in Cardiff for a while, then she came to Northern Island when Iris was born, to get a fresh start at life. She watched her brother, Tyrone, die from what the doctors thought was a snake bite. The venom in his body spread incredibly quickly, and he was dead within an hour of being bitten. Iris Oliviski-Greene 12 Iris is a free spirit, and is much like Snow White, in that she loves animals, and often sits by the river just outside of the town. She is very laid-back, and adventurous, she isn't afraid to jump into the water. When her and Mother moved to Mineral, she had a hard life fitting in. According to rumours, she has an evil spirit living inside her. She tied to deny it, but her nightmares made things worse and worse. Her nightmares are always about her Father, who was born in Mineral. She went through excruciating pain during one of her dreams, because she saw her Father, killing something, which made her wake up and scream extremely loudly.
name: Arktum Kan Harikana Jr. Age: 17 Appearance: (anyone who want to get me a pic? ^^') Backstory: He is one of the few children in his family (grew up with 6 siblings) to be born in Mineral. He grew up with his parents and siblings for most of his life. He is the only known survivor in his family after a murder that is still under investigation, though Ark thinks no one really cares about what happened to him and his family. He now lives alone, making enough profit from his mothers shop to do so. He is kind to everyone, never showing remorse for his fallen family. He is also an experienced hunter, a valuable skill he learned from his father. Always has his dad's bow on his back, along with a large variety of arrows. His painful experience: living alone without any connection to family for 4 years. Extra: he is future owner of his mothers shop, The Hunters Den (sells hunting equipment, fresh meats, vegatables, etc.). Shop isn't extremely popular to common folk, mainly known by huntsmen.
Robert Dowsett 30 Personality: He's reserved and not many people know what he gets up to behind closed doors. He's very open-minded about many different things: Same sèx marriages, religion etc. Background story: He moved to Mineral with his young family from New York. They had heard these 'rumours' about ghosts, witches and demons but of course he chose not to believe them. Misfortune: When he had returned home one night after chopping wood for an elderly resident he wasn't greeted by his wife like he usually was. When he walked inside the house was an absolute tip, he knew something was up almost immediately. He ran up the stairs to his son's bedroom and found him and his wife laying on the bed in a warm embrace with their throats slashed. Extra: He plays piano at the local pub.
Nathan and Nathaniel Marxist 23 Nathan- Easy going, none talkative, Calm Nathaniel- serious,helpful Nathan was diagnosed with a rare disease that no one knows what the cure is so Nathaniel decided to become and has been doing his best to keep Nathan alive. Nathaniel cares alot of Nathan and will go at any length to make sure he doesn't die, Nathan is the weakest among the twins but rarely shows it.
Name Lina Bell Ortiz Appearance Personality Secretive at times but above all friendly. She enjoys her free time to write in her book. She also likes to draw people. Her curiosity at times gets her in to trouble. Background Her great great grandparents were haunted by the Bell ghost until their untimely deaths. The ghost was said to have moved on to the next of kin. Attacking and haunting for another ten years before quieting. They all thought it was over. Until her grandmother died in a fire. She was feeding the horses at the time in the barn house. The barn was removed since then. Her grandfather having died from a heart attack shortly after her grandmother's death. She decided to take a trip there against her mother's wishes. Doubting any of the folk tales told. Unfortunate event Lost both grandparents within a month. Nearly losing her mother in a car accident a year later.

Setting: The children blissfully unaware head off to school and the adults go about their daily lives still wonderin' whether demons, ghosts and witches could exist.
