I haven't made a thread in a very long time, and honestly the years I have been playing, I can count on one hand how many I have made. So this will seem like a pointless thread to most, which it is, but it's my thoughts of the night. Many people have made threads on "what bothers you or what annoys you on Pimd" Well here is what annoys me.... Many people seem to "attack" the OP, and are so quick to say something like "this is a pointless thread", " you could have just wrote this on WC". Well I for one completely understand why they don't. I barely write anything in WC and when I do, I just get annoyed. For example, tonight I said hello on there to a friend and right away I had 23 people trying to follow me, sending me gifts saying things such as " talk with me baby" " I want to Rp with you babe" and so many others. That to me always make me want to not write in WC. So before judging others, and be so quick to tell them to take it to WC you should think about why they don't. The majority of the forums is players who don't talk like that where as WC has seemed to of turned into a major dating place to try and "hook" up with someone. Just my two cents and opinions as usual.
So you would rather have people spam forums with "hire my tuts" instead of putting it in campus where its intended to be?
Spam no, but the occasional ones are not that bad. No where on the game does it state exactly what the forum is for. It has multiply reasons. Someone asking to be hired is also a way for them to get to know others, but many are too ignorant to let that happen. Just my opinion.
Theres a reason why campus has a limit on how much you can type. Its to get a short message to every player on. Forums should have a minimum character requirement so all these useless threads wouldnt be allowed.
23 follows AND gifts I'm lucky to get 1 follow if I post on WC.... I understand that you get pervs following you and sending gifts but still.... Shocking that it's soo many
Rain, I guess partially it is my fault for having a female username. When I first started the game, it wasn't like it is now. Yeah there were some that tried to use this game to "hook" up, but it increased drastically. I have had it for so long, and I am not one to change usernames every other day/week/ or month. So I guess females are targeted more in WC because I was shocked by those numbers and amount of gifts when received.
I've had a few girls do this to me as well but not in those numbers.... Even had a guy do this to me once but yes I agree women/girls are targeted more due to the fact that there are a lot of male pervs on this game... But with that bein said there too is a fairly amount of female pervs as well
I agree Jenni. I don't find the hire me posts pointless; I've hired a few people who have done that and they've turned out to be great tutors. New players come to forums looking for help and get trolled. It's sad. And I can't relate to the millions of follows per WC post I guess being a roaming gnome isn't very appealing to the pervies not that I'm complaining
I'm a little glad I'm silenced now. xD But that's just appalling! I remember going on forums with a lot of feminine sounding names and the most I ever got was a wall note or something.
