"And this voice doesn't feel right coming out of my mouth. These words, they're not mine. The way I look it's like meeting a stranger for the first time. None of this feels like me. This can't be me, it just can't..." I whispered as my partner asked how I felt after surgery. We had just gotten in a car crash a week earlier, and I had been knocked out ever since. My throat was still sore and dry. I haven't had a fluid run down my throat in what felt like in forever. "Bay, it's gonna get better..." Alexis said as she sat at the foot of the hospital bed. She went to rub my leg then stopped at the sight of the burns. Our truck caught fire and my legs were trapped. "It's okay. You can touch them. It doesn't hurt too bad." She looked away as tears filled her eyes. "It's just you look like you're falling apart... And there's nothing I can do about it..." Her voice was a choked whisper. I wanted to get up and show her I'm still the girl I've always been. I'm still the one she fell in love with a year ago, and stole my heart in return. "Alexis, I'm still here. I'm fine." "BUT I WAS THE ONE WHO WAS DRIVING!" She busted out in tears. Her make-up was running down her face. "Let it go. They ran into us. Do not put any of this blame onto yourself. You didn't do anything wrong. Hell you dragged me out of the accident. You're my hero!" For a moment our eyes locked and our lips touched, then the doctor walked in. "I have some news for you two..." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi, I'm Ashley. I haven't posted a fanfic in about 9-10 months so this is my first one in a long time. Five bumps then I'll update.
I like it, I would recommend if you could put spaces between the paragraphs, cause it it just looks like this huge paragraph
