They're protective parents I guess. My son just started talking to people on meego (having been asked not to). Within a day someone tried to threaten him. Not a good idea. Depending on their age, I don't really blame them. Ps, my son isn't in double figures yet. He grabbed my meego account which is patrolled on my iPad by a very overprotective mummy. He won't be making contact with nasty little ata sexting scumbags again.
Casper That could have ended badly. And the game isn't the problem, it's the people playing it. The same people that come from other ATA games and have a problem keeping a kid-friendly environment.
Mhmm. I completely agree that being protective is a good thing, but... I mean, going as far as to lock everything up and then watching over everything she says when she's old enough to do her own stuff is a bit creepy, but then again every parent has their own set of parenting skills.
Roy, not when his cyber stalking mummy owns the iPad and takes care of his meegos when he's at school. He doesn't know the home phone number, has no mobile number or email address and I patrol the inbox. Not sure if you can block on meego yet, if you can, they're all gonna be gone with a few words when I see em (which will be straight off). If not, I'll be reporting far and wide until ata get proper blocking restrictions on the game.
