So in my history of literature class (I didn't know this was real intel I took it...) we are going over The Elizabethan era. If you don't know what that is I well tell you. The Elizabethan era was the epoch in English history of Queen Elizabeth I's reign (1558–1603). This is the time period with the legendary poetic writer Shakespeare. Now to tell you what I need help with: The professor assigned us a project. We have to reenact Act II scene II of Romeo and Juliet. But the thing is is that we have to modernizes this. We can act it out with Fruit, ourselves, Sock puppets, etc. I'm not very creative so I was hoping you guys would have some Ideas to do this. Please help.
It's not really. We have to make the play more modern and can't change the story line. But we can act it out with anything, fruit, sock puppets, ourselves, etc.
Have you not seen Romeo and Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes? That's a modern version watch that, it might help you? also try changing the words to new English?
