Isn't a compound verb something like.. am calling (for verb, verb) or take a walk (verb, noun)? >.> My grammar also sucks.
Compound verbs are all the verbs generally connected by the "and" in your sentences. The pictures are hard to see the whole sentence, but some you did right. An example I saw (I think) was rising and falling. Obviously rising is a verb as well as falling.
