I come from a little town. Barely 200 people lived there back when I was a kid. Life was simple, calm, happy. Almost perfect. We lacked of nothing, I had a loving family. It was a peaceful place, due to its location. In the middle of the forest... Well not really, but the town was surrounded by the forest and the roads were empty outside the town. I remember when everything started. I was 4 years old. Everyone agreed to say I was a cute little boy, with my green eyes and hazel hairs. It was a sunny afternoon. I heard an unfamiliar noise. The motor of a truck. Some people were moving in my old neighbors' house. Just like a regular 4 years old boy, I followed the path of curiosity and went in the front yard. Two adults and a girl. A 5 years old, blonde with blue eyes girl. She was shy. My parents came outside to welcome our new neighbors and I followed them. I went to see the little shy girl and I said: - Hi, what's your name? Mine is Geoff, I'm 4 years old. The only answer I got was a frightened look before she ran inside her new house. If you ask me, I'd say I liked others' company a little bit too much. The weeks passed. The hot summer days were always perfect to play outside. After a lot of unsuccessful tries to get to know that new girl, I finally talked to her. Her name was Sophia. Her parents moved because they couldn't stand the fast life of big cities and they needed a break. Money wasn't a problem, they could have stopped working for the rest of their life with no restriction and there would still be a considerable amount of money for their daughter. It was my birthday, that's why she was talking with me. I was turning 5. I was about to start school. I was excited about it. After two weeks of school, I was granted the right to skip a degree, sending me in first grade. Hazard being as it is, I was in Sophia's class now. She was new and she had no one sitting at her desk. The desks were designed for two people. So I got that place by default. She was silent. Never talking, always listening. She had good grades, just like me. But due to her age, she was still smarter than I was. We became friends, walking back home together after school, eating together. We were always together. We shared a lot of things. She was helping me and I was helping her. The years passed. Time didn't get our friendship. We were still passing time together. Most of our time. The only thing that changed was our bodies, our age and our perception of each others. 10 years only made our friendship grow stronger. She just turned 16 and I was 15. I was in love with Sophia since I was 12, when girls stopped being weird, when Sophia became a woman. She had a considerable advance comparing to the rest of the girls, she was a woman when the others were teen. She was mature, both mentally and physically speaking. She was gorgeous. Our long, curly hairs falling on her back, on her shoulders, her beautiful peach cheeks, her perfect pink lips, her white tooth. Her eyes were as deep and as blue as a clear sky, shining like diamonds. She had a smile to fall for. I trusted her, she trusted me. I decided to tell her about my feelings, about my love. I invited her to watch a movie. She accepted. During the movie, I put my left arm on her shoulders, passing behind her neck. She looked me in the eyes and we started kissing. It was my first kiss, same thing for her. I was the happiest person in town, I was absolutely sure about it. She slept at my house. We didn't really sleep, we talked, cuddled and kissed all night long. We were floating on the cloud of our new love, our new happiness, our new relation. [To be continued] If you request another part, I'll write another part. I know, there's no proper action, but that'll come later, if I continue the story. I hope you enjoyed it.
Oh and I'm sorry for the mistakes. I know there are mistakes. Maybe a lot, maybe only a few. But I believe it doesn't make this unreadable.
Every good things end one day... That day was when I left for college, at 18. I left my little town for a big city... Far away from home. Far away from the person I loved the most, from her. Even though we never officially told it, the tears were enough to know it was past. We didn't want to end it, but had no choices. Before leaving, I told her: - One day, we will reunite again and our love will be immortal. I'll always love you. And without a sight, to avoid crying and hating myself for leaving, I got in the bus and left the town. Not even a last look to see her. I needed to leave to live. That's what I thought. In some ways, I wasn't wrong. Even though I left her there, I knew I'd see her again. In the following year, my parents died in a car crash. I had no reasons to go back in what I used to call my town. After studying one thing and another, I signed up to be a military. I had a lot of skills for fighting, a lot of skills with weapons. I was what they called a perfect soldier. I was sent on many missions and was promoted to the rank of special commando. After 5 years, when I was 26 years old, I received a letter. I was relocated. In another big city. They called it a promotion. I accepted the job. I had a good feeling. I was the new leader of a special squad, a subdivision of the army. The best commandos fighting in their country for their people against their people. My job was to save hostages. That city was the capital of my country. I didn't know what was gonna happen. I would never have figured it out. At my second year, we were called to save people. That wasn't a normal case, I could feel it. There was a group of 20 people holding a big building. There was 100 hostages, the others evacuated the building at the first gunshot. 2 guys per entrance, 4 entrances, my squad had 8 members. Our orders were simple. One bullet, one death. No hostages were allowed to die with our bullets. We took the first 8 guys down without any problems. It was an easy job. After cleaning the entrance, we had to find a way to get directly to the hostages. We opted for the surprise effect. We got on the building just next to our targeted building. We threw cables with our special equipment. - 1... 2... 3... GO GO GO!!! We jumped and got through the windows, leading to the hostages detention room. Everything was slowed down. Pulled the trigger twice, two guys down. I hear someone yelling. - I'm down! Help me! - Agent 3 is do... 6 of my agents were shot. 5 of them died on the spot. They 6th soldier killed 5 enemies with his pistol before dying. We still had 10 people to kill, 5 each. My only soldier left had to reload and got shot in the lungs. He died after 5 seconds of pure agony. I covered myself by hiding behind a table. I reloaded, stood up and killed for people. No hostages were killed now, but how long could this last? I shot 3 more people but I ran out of ammos. I took my knife, ran as fast as I could. Killed one guy by cutting his throat. He sounded like a pig when it yells. I shot my knife in the other guy's forehead and he fell on the ground, lifeless. 5 more down, a total of 19. There was still one person and I was unarmed. Where was that last person? Who was the last person? Who was their leader?
