Oh it's alright :3 I never get truly mad at people. As a change on a subject I think is awkward, do you like action stories?
They're interesting to read once in a while, but my favorite genre is actually teen drama. It's good to try understanding an adolescent kid's psychology or the typical stereotype by reading their behavior in a colorful plot. Maybe that's just me, I guess. I also love it when the setting is set somewhere slightly futuristic, either steampunk or cyber. In the end, it all comes down to the plot and its characters and writing techniques. Those, to me, are the three major things I look for in a book. A bit of butt kicking wouldn't hurt, though.
XD I'm not usually one for teen drama, myself. Add some zombies, and maybe. Myself, I think futuristic stuff sometimes gets too complicated for one with my tiny brain. If you do enjoy it, I would actually love you, for all your differences (meant in a good way) to ream my story(s, if you interested in my first one)
First off, this whole thread is like a freaking boardroom meeting. I like it. Second, my old stories had love and all that jazz. I got tired of it. I created a new story then and tragically, it started to shift to love. I'm trying to direct it back to its main plot, which is about teen realities. (I've stopped that story for a while...some kind of hiatus) That's my style, I suppose. Teen realities, if it's considered. I like writing about what teens are going through. Peer pressure, bad homes, whatever floats your boat. I'm currently working on a story in another website, and yes, it's about teen realities. I have a story here though, and it's NOT about these realities for once, I want to shift to a more action, supernatural (no, not werewolves and vampires) feel. I'm such a hypocrite though, because I've only updated once. -.- As for the statement that there are too many love stories here, I can't really tell, because it's either I don't read them or if once I click on the thread, it sends me to a mass chaos of wrong spelling, punctuation and grammar. I don't bother to read anymore. Well, if that really is the case, a few good action and angst stories will balance it out. We can't stop people from writing about love, because maybe that's their style. But we can write with out style and KABOOM equilibrium. ._. Hey Chloe. Hey stranger. c;
You know how I can tell you guys are experienced story writers, because you write full paragraphs(WITH A "S"!) about the dislike of a nickname a person has abruptly given to you. It makes the rest us one-paragrapher feel like third graders. I enjoy reading imaginative, teen life problems, mythology, and romance with lots of action. It's probably because I love anything by Rick Riordan and James Patterson. MAXIMUM RIDE and PERCY JACKSON 4EVA!! I absolutely hate stories that occur in medieval times. As sound as my eyes see "thy" "thou" I slowly shrivel up and die on the inside. My ability to tolerate futuristic stories is slightly less than average. It depends on the plot I should say. I mainly stick with present times. See I wrote THREE paragraphs instead of one. Makes me feel good on the inside. Now I see why you guys write so much! ------- Hi Amber Hi Chole(P.S.: Do you dislike me. I think you do.) Hi Other person that I don't know very well but created this awesome rant-thread that has transformed into a slight socializing thread.
Wait whut Haha, no. I don't really have an opinion of you, but that doesn't mean I diskike you! It depends on both first impressions and the way you talk to people. XD I guess I overanalyze, but I can't help it. Most of the fan-fictioners here are on my 'eh whatever the fuck' list, some on my shit-list, and some (LIKE ANDI<3) who I want to snuggle into my bed of warmth and literature and never let go. ... fff creeper's gambit ONE UP.
I adore action. As long as it's well explained and not like a Matt Damon movie (BOOM! POW! EXPLOSIONS! FIRE! GUNS! FUCK YEAH!). Romance can get boring. I do adore futuristic things because it makes me curious how stuff will actually turn out, and plus LASER GUNS! Or at least something cool like that ,_, I like classic literature and plays and poems (Epic poems, mainly. But if they're well written, why not?). I like pretty much everything except the Cinderella mixed with a horrid version of Teen Wolf type shit that make me want to vomit rainbows and murder puppies. The teen romance though, good God. Vomit everywhere.
XD I want to just say over and over "please read my story" but I don't want to seem, well... What's the word for it? Egotistic?
Oh, it's perfectly fine to want someone to read. Not egotistical at all. I read the first one, but I didn't realize you'd remade it.
I feel like I have to add something to this. The stories I like to read are… well, varied. I like action stories (although I can't write it) but I also enjoy teen drama/romance and whatnot. The common overdramatic tone of those stories amuse me. My absolute favorite is fantasy. And that's mostly because it just takes so much imagination to create all those incredible creatures. (RANGER'S APPRENTICE.) I'm willing to read all different genres, and I like stories from each. But the one type I hate is dark, suicidal stories. >.< They just make me depressed. However, I like writing like that. It's weird. There. I contributed.
