Now, I now you haven't seen my name around ever... (Unless you decided to read my poorly written story) but truth be told I've been here longer than most. Not a lie Anyhow, I noticed the horrifying number, and growing, of love stories.... I don't know about most of you, but I am sick of them ._. Hands down. Not saying they're poorly written, but that I would like to see some action, as I have tried to put mine in. Not only that, but so many RP's, even though I thought the agreement was moving them to FC for more story room? Ahh well. As a last sentiment, I say this: Love is overused in stories And that's my last statement. See y'all around
Maybe another statement... Though I love putting my work up, it just goes away 0.0 two hours is all it takes... That sucks
I agree wholeheartedly. Love is a topic that everyone seems to use for some unknown reason. (Even though I'm a hypocrite because yes, my current story starts out with teenaged feels that are similar to love, but rather more uncomfortable and unsure, but that's not the entire plot.) Why we're all obsessed with love is probably a cause of loneliness, and pretty much female in population. Apparently, no girl can write about other things. Stereotypes abound, both in stories and people. I have the same problem, but I choose to ignore it. If you love what you do, people will love it too. Or so I delude myself to believe. Point is, variety is a very, very good thing, and I suggest that people branch out a tad bit more.
I partly agree with you. I think love stories are fine, but I hate ones that are only about love and nothing else. It has to have something different, something interesting, other than a typical love drama story. That's how I write mine.
It depends on how it's written. I specialize in teenage drama, romance, and angst and sometimes horror. My favorite way of writing is mixing in genres until it's a beautiful shade of monstrosity and puke. High school romances are cliché. Very cliché. It's overused and fruitless, regardless of the plot and 'what comes after'. I honestly hoped to see more originality in the new fan fictioners, but I guess I asked for too much.
Haha, that's fine. I just wanted to know if you were a veteran or not. There were a lot of cool people I was with, including being part of a collaboration but unfortunately it never finished. Just wanted to know if you were one of those awesome people, guess not. Oh well. XD
Veteran, no. Depends on if you count time or stats. If time, then yes, I am a severe veteran. I just never bothered to not be a perv until recently
Little Goldie, I have no idea my first day =.= Imagine asking a goldfish to remember ten seconds ago.... That's what it's like
Little Goldie? :| Pardon me, I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but please refrain from thinking up ghastly nicknames for me. I have a name, and many others you could easily address me by without having a slight condescending tone in your post and offending me. Of course, I'm not saying you knew you had, nor that I am, it's just laughable that you consider 'little goldie' to be an appropriate nickname when you could've called me 'gold', 'g', or 'chloe', as people call me. Adding the little to the beginning implies that you're either being passive aggressive, or you're just putting it there. Could be either, I won't over-analyze nor make a bigger judgment and over-speculate. I never asked for your first day, though. If asking when you join was too much of a hassle, as well as not wanting to give me your past username or even giving me proof as to you actually being a veteran after all these claims, and note that I am neither hassling nor pressuring you, it just seems a bit... Far-fetched, don't you think? This could just be me and my rambling again. I highly doubt it though, but like I said, I'm not one to over-speculate... Much.
I like you ^.^ the way you react to some stuff is very interesting I know your name is Chloe (due to weeks of lurking),I just didn't think I was, well, close enough to use that name. Most people just don't give their names. And if course, I know you didn't mean the exact day. The only problem is, I have no idea the month either, or the year. In all, I THINK it was 2010, but then my iPod busted and I got a new one, staring again in 2011. I can't say exactly which one was more productive, but hey, that's how I am. Please don't be too offended by my nicknames, I like using them. It takes me two seconds to come up with them, and then most people don't care. I'm glad you told me you do though, so thanks for that.
I'm sorry for the abrupt change in my tone, I'm just rather fond of speaking like this for some strange reason. I can get the feeling though, memories are bitches to think of. I swear I thought I came in May but then it turned into March and back to May until it was a mass swirl of confusion, then I gave the fuck up. I'm not going to give you meaningless criticism on nicknames or whatever, so no need to apologize. I've always had a small problem with being referred to as 'little', but that doesn't mean I'm actually offended. I apologize if I gave you the wrong impression.
