  1. Just something I came up with. I might continue it I might now. Let me know why you think!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Peter's POV
    Keep her out of this. I don't want her to get hurt.
    There's no time for secrets. Not now, not ever.
    But those are the best kinds.
    The events played over and over in my mind. Four months and it still seemed like it happened yesterday. I didn't even go to her dad's funeral. What kind of person am I? Oh, I know. The selfish kind that only cares about themselves. To be selfless, I should have kept her out of it. But it was too hard not to tell her.
    I stared down at the city. My city. The light from the skyscrapers twinkled in the becoming darkness. Her apartment was only 20 blocks away. I could make it there in about three minutes flat. Two and a half if I traveled above the tops.
    But I made a promise. To her, to her dad, and to myself. I won't let anyone get in the way if I can help it. It isn't fair to them. They don't stand a chance in my line of work.
    I heard sirens and looked down. Five police cars and a speeding van. Bank robbers by the look of the bullet holes in the back. Way too cliche. At least that car thief had some originality.
    I jumped down and cried out in joy. The sense of free fall was, well, amazing. Just like me. I can't believe this is real. It seems like this is all a dream from a life my father dreamed o having.
    Careful there, Bugboy.
  2. Gwen's POV
    I sighed and rested my arms on the edge of the roof. This was where he trusted me with his secret. It was also when he first kissed me. Now it's where I long to see him again.
    I looked down when five police cars rushed by after a speeding van. The van then stopped in front of my apartment. I tried to get a better look at what was happening.
    Two guys jumped out of the van with sacks of money and ran into the building. I couldn't tell if they had guns or not. But I was not waiting to find out.
    I ran back into my apartment and into the kitchen. My mom was there making dinner. She was completely oblivious of what's going on.
    "Mom, we need to lock the door." She turned around from her fish and looked at me weird.
    "Why?"
    "There's a couple robbers headed up stairs right now," I replied. Right when I finished, the door bust open and a robber slid across the floor. There, in the door way, was [i[him[/i].
    Oh, I'm in trouble.
  3. I know it seems kind of confusing now. But everything will be explained in the next update.
  4. Great start. I would suggest adding a little more detail, and using a thesaurus for better vocabulary. Bump!
  5. Thanks so much!
