Foxaii is my online sister whom I'm currently engaged with, but our online wedding won't happen until 2047 when we're both married to lawyers and living in trailer parks living off welfare checks. IT DOESN'T COUNT AS INFIDELITY IF THE PRIEST IS A CHICKEN, GUYS. [insert the more you know picture here pls]
Okay, today I did some major book shopping (as you can tell). Going from left to right I got the following: Going Bovine ~ Libba Bray Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist ~ Rachel Cohn and David Levithan Unraveling Isobel ~ Eileen Cook Awkward ~ Marni Bates Beauty Contest ~ Libba Bray Hate List ~ Jennifer Brown Lucy in the Sky ~ Anonymous Spoiled ~ Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan Obviously, there is no theme to how I choose books. That's what I want to talk about today: how Fox chooses books. Way one *note: best to do when there's few people around 1. Face the bookshelf and close your eyes 2. Choose how many steps you're going to take 3. Take that number of steps, dragging your finger along the books 4. DO NOT OPEN YOUR EYES choose a letter a-m and another letter n-z 5. Open your eyes, from that row choose a book whose title has those two letters or the book's author Way Two 1. Choose a small chunk of the alphabet, three to five letters, and an amount of money you know you can pay ie: A-C and $74 2. Go through the books in whatever way is most comfortable, pulling every book you find interesting off the the shelf. 3. Once you have done so, sort through the books and choose ones that add up to the exact amount you planned to spend 4. If there are multiple stacks, play enie minie moe. Let's move on to the order of which I'll read these books. Whatever fucking way I see fit! Two sentence or less pre-reading reviews for each book: Going Bovine: I got about halfway through this one a few months ago, do not read if you're freaked out by hallucinations. Rating: 7/10 Beauty Queens: Cat Fights meet Survivor Nick and Norah's: I hope this book is as good as Lily and Dash's with just as much humor from this dynamic duo. Awkward: Life is Awkward. Hate List: This sums up what I think would've happened if Mean Girls was called Mean Gay Guys With Hellalot of Grudges. Lucy in the Sky: Go, just go as Alice. Spoiled: Hoping to relate to the main character as far as stuck up, spray tanned snobs go. ~ Fox
