CS Lewis wrote this out as a thought experiment in his Screwtape Letters. Screwtape being one of the devil's minions sent to tempt and torment a specific individual. Per Catholic doctrine, the antichrist was Rome. Not a person (although 666 was Caligula), but a heretical deviant empire that supplanted itself as superior to God's will.
Anti-christ? Lolwhat The devil, in my opinion, is a representive of sinning and the bad in this world. Since you can't use science to disprove religion, and vice versa, I guess the devil can be anything to you. A demon, a spiritual body of mass evil and destruction, or a goat head or whatever, or a giant T-Rex. :0
In Isaiah, the prophet refers to a fallen angel cast from heaven, but Satan is only mentioned by name in the Old Testament Book of Job as a being that tests souls. Satan doesn't fully appear until the New Testament Gospels, and there is no biography given or even a description of hell. The biography of the devil and his kingdom come from other cultures conquered by the Holy Roman Empire. They were immortalized by Dante and Milton in their poetical works and persist as dogma in modern Christianity. But good luck finding anything in the Bible.
I'm Catholic and I pray and all of that stuff. However, I do not believe in Hell. Hell is contradictory to what God is supposed to be and represent. On the other hand, I've been working on a story that features Lucifer. I've always pictured him as tall and very attractive.
Hmm... I'm a Christian... And, if satan were to come to earth, I think he would try to impress the Christians/Catholics. Because, the more valuable you are too god, the more valuable you are to satan. I also think the satanists would increase a ton, because all of the athiests would shit thier pants, and become a satanist.
Well the antichrist would be just like any of us, just without remorse or anything. I think he'd try to woo the people into thinking he is Christ who's come again. Mainly, because he'd be powerful and be able to do impossible things, like Christ. Basically, the biggest lie and deception in the world. He'd make the people do what he wants them to, whether it be warring, starvation, or any other horrible thing you can imagine.
I think the antichrist would be kind of like Hitler. Amazing public speaker, convincing people that what's wrong is right.
