Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates it, either today or tomorrow! Now I know I may be one of the "mean" people on forums, but even I become happy come holiday time. Everyone deserves kindness and happiness this time of year, and there's one person in mind while I write this, and I think many of you know who she is. No matter what someone does, I ask you from the bottom of my heart to put it behind, at least for a couple days, and just be happy. Don't ruin the holiday for someone else! Now, PIMD Community, tell me about your holiday traditions! Do you spend Christmas at home? With family? Do you leave to a family member's house? Do you have a special holiday meal? What is it? Now even though it isn't the point of the holiday, most people buy gifts for each other. What do you want? What is your favorite part of this holiday? For me, Christmas Eve is the day for visiting. On Christmas I'm home with family. Other family members come over for a ham dinner . This year... I didn't want much! Just couldn't think about anything other than how much money I spent on others and the large hole in my pocket. As for my favorite part? I don't think I could choose one. There's the decorations, decorating Christmas cookies (tradition), and just being with family. This time of year really draws the kindness out of me. My Christmas tradition is watch tv all day and drive around to find something to do (I don't celebrate xmas) This year I'm spending it alone because my parents are visiting my brother so I'm not getting outta bed
My Christmas tradition is waking up and not being allowed in the lounge until everyone is awake. Then Boxing day is usually the visiting day.
Merry Christmas Royale and all of PIMD Christmas eve is quiet, just mass and lasagna dinner at home with my family. My mom tried to change the menu on year and we all flipped. She has not tried that since. Christmas day is huge in my family. My whole extended family gets together, after the morning craziness and goes skiing, then comes home and has a huge turkey for dinner. 25-30 people is about average, so its a big happy party. All the aunts, uncles, and cousins opening presents is probably my favorite part of the holiday. Everyone is just so happy, all the issues in the world dont matter. Just people being happy. What do I want? Um... Love, peace, happiness for the world. Thats sort of unreasonable though. There are a lot of things I would like. Im not going to pour my heart out, but my good friends know what I want. For the PIMD community I would like one day, hell I'll take one hour, free of peace, drama, people breaking the ToU and no farm wars. The community working together to get ahead, not going out of our way to harm each other. A day of no evil. A day of people taking 5 seconds to think about what they say and how it might affect the person it is directed at before spouting off what ever comes to the top of their mind. Merry Christmas

Ski I enjoyed reading that Sounds like lots of fun! I've never went skiing before . This year the plan is to go to my brother's house early in the morning to be with my nephew when he opens gifts. Can't wait!
That I do You should have seen last year! Or years ago. There was one particular year that we had 144 dozen (yes) cookies. They were everywhere! Next year we're cutting back to just sugar cookies though.
My traditions, hmm? Well, me, my parents and brother go on a road trip to my grandparent's place a few days before Christmas. On Christmas Day my cousins and aunt come over and we open presents. Sometimes my cousins will sleep over on Christmas Eve. Or course there's always the tradition of me and my brother (and cousins when they sleep over) waking up at 6 . My cousins and aunt stay over for the whole day. We'll watch a Christmas movie in the afternoon. This year it's Home Alone! (if you haven't seen it, you need to) For supper we have turkey and verinike (aka perogies). One personal tradition is doing all my shopping on Christmas Eve . My grandparents live in a small city so it's really not that crowded (to me).
❄Happy Holidays PIMD Every Christmas Eve I visit my parents and my sister. we share many stories while at the dinner table. After dinner we open presents like wild dogs smelling meat. Seriously it's funny. Now I don't exactly know why they make me come a day early But who cares As long as I get to see them I'm good I make cookies with my mom as we watch my dad tickle my baby sister. Now at 1:00 am on Christmas Day I finally unhide the presents that go to my roommates Christmas Day is like crazy..... First off I'm always the first one awake. Then I cook my roommates breakfast and wake them up( Because they are lazy). After that we enjoy watching Christmas movies for about four hours Then we all go out for lunch and after our fun together is over.... We go our separate ways and visit our family's. This is where I go to my grandmothers house and man oh man it smells like Christmas there I can smell the cookies cooling down. Sweet delectable warm goodness. Okay anyways About 30 people come over to my grandma's house (Friends, Family) We eat my grandma's Turkey and many other foods...(Basically like thanksgiving dinner) after dinner we actually have dessert and then open presents. Oh and then after that.... We have a giant snow ball fight Who shall win this year? Oh when I finally get home.... There is a party at our house Woot! Party! What I want for Christmas? I want everyone to have an amazing time with their loved ones. I would also like a stress free Christmas. Or a day to just relax from everything that's going on. My favorite part of this holiday is well, I don't have a favorite part.... Because the day it's self is a wonderful part of my year. I do like how everyone is joyful and caring around Christmas. Well, on Christmas Eve my family and I go to my Grandma's house. The rest of our family and family friends also come and we have a nice little get together exchanging gifts, making rude jokes about the family members we haven't seen in years, drinking way too many beers and slapping each others ass! This year, sadly, my Grandma's in a rehab center because she has a weak heart. We're thinking about bringing the party there since they have 24 hour visiting hours. On Christmas we watch Christmas movies on TV we've seen 10,000 times before and open our gifts. It's nice to be with your family, really. Well that's my Christmas tradition.
