Well it's the season so why not a Christmas story. Here's one. It was the day before Christmas and I was getting out of bed early to help my dad with the busy day today. I got on my coat and boots and waited for my dad to come down stairs. When he came down he looked at me all confused. "why are you all dressed up sweetie?" I responded saying " I want to go with you in the woods to collect fire wood for tonight." I have him a look that usually convinces him. He said " okay, just stay by me the whole time." I nodded and we went to the slay and headed on out. When we got to the woods my dad found a fallen tree and started to chop it into logs. All of a sudden he stopped and was looking off in the distance. I followed were he was looking and there I saw a wolf looking at us. My dad put down the ax and went to get his rifle. I shouted " daddy don't shoot the doggy, he didn't do anything to us." my father said " that's no dog, that's a wolf, and I never seen them around these parts for a long time." I looked at him and started to tear up. He looked and me and said " alright, I won't shoot it." I smiled and gave him a big hug. After that the wolf looked at us and left. After we got the wood we went home and prepared our self for Christmas eve dinner. My mom was still preparing dinner so I asked if I can go play outside for awhile. She said its okay but to head on in soon cause a storm was about to hit later in the evening. I got dressed up and started to play in the snow. I was to busy having fun that I didn't notice the storm slowly making its Way. It was very windy and started to get dark. I couldn't see where to go or how to get home. I crawled underneath a tree and laid there. I started to get very cold and I knew that I was slowly dieing. All of a sudden I felt a great warmth on me and a soft fur on my face. I realized that it was the wolf. I fell asleep from the warmth and the heat of the wolfs heart. I woke up with the wolf beside me only till he ran when he herd my dad shouting my name. I Got up and ran towards him with joy. "dad your not going to believe me but the wolf saved me from freezing to death!" my dad laugh a little and said "that's impossible. It's not in there nature to help us." "But dad it's true." he still wouldn't believe me but I knew all along that that wolf was a Christmas miracle. The end. Rate, comment, what do you think?
As a wolf I approve of this tale as a fellow author don't let apparent lack of readers discourage you
