  1. Use mine! I am the owner

  2. Many have their own club they like, so it might not work the way you plan, but I like the idea of helping the new gen. Am I the new gen?

  3. Meh, yeah. But you're more mature than them

  4. Why thank you deary I know my grammar 

  5. But how do we know they would listen? I mean, this could start fights with some of the more arrogant players. But we could try. Not trying to be a pessimist, just pointing it out. 

  6. Well, then we take the ones than are willing to join. If people become hard-headed and act arrogant then we just kick them outIt's there loss.

  7. The arrogance here is simply astounding.

I would like to input that the majority of us has not been here long enough, and all of us do not have the potential or competence to put up with this shit and 'train' the 'new generation' of writers.

Considering yourself part of the 'old generation' (which died before 2012, even earlier, I guess, 2011, so none of us are part of it), and saying that you'll 'train the new generation is a bit pompous, don't you think?

I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be a condescending piece of shit or anything, nor am I trying to piss someone off, it just irritates me when something like this happens. We're all amateur writers, let the 'new generation' do whatever the fuck they want. We don't have the right to manipulate their writing styles or tell them to do anything, so let's just let us all be. That isn't even the main problem. :|

I'm sorry if I misinterpreted your intentions but that's just my perspective on the matter.

  8.  I just want to help writers become better, not train them..... Like give pointers. Like check spelling, grammar, and such. But like I said a club won't work. Just help them here

  9. Then you're doing it wrong, just saying.

A thread won't attract much attention unless it's either a rant, a story, an rp, or a sign up. A thread named after a club (which in my opinion was a bit of an annoyance) that failed before isn't really going to help. Then again, I'm not going to join this and fail for another billionth time, so I guess you make an attempt.

  10. I meant here as in on there story in ff....

  11. I guess my euphemism didn't come strongly enough, and Chloe pretty much summed up what I've been trying to tell everyone. They will not listen to us. This will just create a barrier between us and the newer ones. And we are also new. I've been here since 2011 - and yes, you may say that's from the "old gen" - but I still have lessons to learn. We are not all experts, and the new FFers will use that against us.

And what's our main objective? To reduce threads, or to make them make proper threads? If it's the earlier, then there isn't much we can do. Once a thread is made, it's made. We can complain about it, but the occasional troll will come and spam us and all, and complaining won't stop it.

If it's the later, check my explanation above. I suggest critiquing them on their threads, since that is the least harmful way of the matter. Don't be too harsh and be considerable. If they don't accept it, it's their loss.

I'm not a perfect author at all. Far from it. But as a FFer, I say we let them be. If they wish to use FF in that way, let them be. Who are we to oppose? We do not own FF. Our time being does not necessarily give us an advantage in the sense that we're better than them. Maybe more experience, but then again, maybe not. If they accept the criticism, kudos to them. If not, like I said, it's their loss.

  12. Same here Amber  i have been since 2011 January!

  13. Your lies will get you nowhere except public humiliation and being the butt of the joke for three months straight. Again.
