  1. Hello. Harry Potter addict here. I've read numerous HP fanfics and I must say that this story has potential . I also enjoy the fact that you placed it between generations.
One thing that bothered me was the Ravenclaw dorm. It's specified in the books (not sure about the movies) that it doesn't have a passw

  2. Password * (Sorry, phone problems ) and in order to get into the ravenclaw tower you have to give the answer to a riddle.
    :)

  3. Then do you ship Drarry? :p

  4. Alright lol. I'll fix that man. Thanks for telling me

  5. Waiting waiting waitingggggg lol. I've checked ff frequently today looking for an update.

  6. A Tale of Hogwarts
The Adventures of Joseph and Spencer

    Chapter 5 (Part 1)

    Spencer POV

There was nothing I could do. I was sorted into Slytherin and that was that. Nothing could be done. All I could do was accept it, but for some reason I felt slight anger.

My house Prefect, Thomas Cascade, guided us First Years to our dorms. He explained everything. The common room, where the dorms were, and why Slytherin should hate Gryffindor.

I walked up the winding staircase and chose a dorm room. Of course I was the first one up here because every one was downstairs and in the Great Hall.

To my surprise, my books, pack, wand and robes appeared next to the four poster bed as I sat.

"Magic." I slightly chuckled to myself. "You gotta love it."

And then I drifted off to sleep.

    Joseph POV

Myles, Brady and I all walked up the stairs and into the first dorm we saw. Surprisingly, at the moment we sat on our own beds, our belongings appeared before us.

The dorm was small, but able to fit five four poster beds. In the center was a heater. There was an empty closet next to my bed that I might put to use later.

I leaned forward holding my hands together.

    "What is it?" I asked.

"Look...the sorting hat said something to us after we were sorted." Brady said with a serious look.

"Yeah. Something weird." Myles put in.

"Same here. It gave me some sort of riddle." I said thinking of what it could mean.

"What did it say to you?" Myles asked me.

Strangely I remembered it by heart.

"Find the mystery in the air, in the tower, and on the sea. Rowena can only take three. The song of Death, the song of Life, the song of Breath. Find them and harvest, to save yourself from the darkness." I recited to both of them.

"What could that mean? Rowena can only take three?" Brady said curiously.

    "And who's Rowena?" I asked.

"I don't know mate." Myles said tapping his feet.

"There's a library here right?" Brady pointed out.

"Should be." I said looking up.

"Let's look tomorrow for anything on Rowena." Brady said stretching.

"Er...we don't now her last name smart one." Myles retorted and I sniggered.

"Fine. Maybe we'll learn it sometimes in one of our classes." Brady said, his face red.

"Or we can ask someone." I said.

"Let's all just worry about this tomorrow. And...what about Spencer?" Myles asked looking down.

"Nothing we can do about it. What happened, happened. No way around it." I said frustratingly.

Nothing was said after that. We all changed into our pjs and got in our own bed and fell asleep. But I began a dream I don't think I'll ever forget.

    (Part 2)

    Joseph POV

I woke in what seemed a dim lit corridor. All was quiet. The stone floor was chilling, and the breeze coming from somewhere wasn't helping either.

I stood silently. I felt taller. When I asked "Hello?" my voice was deeper. What was going on?

I started to run down the corridor to the door. I through it open and dashed out into the courtyard near the Ravenclaw tower.

Snow was falling, and it was dark. The only light was the faint lamps hanging throughout the courtyard.

I walked slowly through the snowy courtyard to what seemed to be a bright blue chest. I kneeled in front and laid a hand on it.

I yanked back quickly from how cold it was.

"Dear boy. How you remain alive after all this I do not know. Well, you are my descendent after all." a soothing woman's voice came from behind me.

I turned around. And I didn't regret it.

  15. A Tale of Hogwarts
The Adventures of Joseph and Spencer

    Chapter 6

    Joseph POV

The woman standing in front of me was slim, wore a blue dress, and had beautiful eyes. Her face was flawless and her voice was as soothing as an infant's laughter.

    "Where...am I? And...I'm your...descendent?" I asked nervously while shivering.

"You're in a battleground." the woman said with a sorrowful look.

I took a moment to look around. She was right. Pillars, holding up the courtyard, had been crushed and blown to bits. The Ravenclaw tower had a gaping hole in the angle I was facing. A few bodies were lying under where the courtyard's edge roof used to be.

My stomach lurched. I felt sick and depressed.

"Did this...happen while I was asleep?" I asked.

"Oh come now Joseph, you are asleep." the woman laughed.

"Oh." I said standing taller. "So this is just a dream?"

    Her face turned grim.

"Yes...and no. More of a...preview." she said holding her hands together tightly.

"Excuse me?" I asked, my face shock in awe.

"This, Joseph, is what will happen if you do not solve the riddle of Ravenclaw. Your friend's will perish. And same with you" She said holding her arms at her sides.

I cringed at that. The riddle was more important than I thought.

"This riddle...why me? What does it mean?" I asked and my body began to shake uncontrollably from the cold.

"In good time." the woman spoke, her smile appearing on her face once more.

"And this chest." I sputtered through the shivering. "What's this for?"

Her face glistened. She looked as if she was most happy to tell me.

As she began to speak, everything turned black. My thoughts were blurred. I heard hissing, screaming, and the sound of pure pain.

Was I in hell? No. I was asleep. But I had to wake up!

My body began to shake vigorously and I was able to open my eyes. When I did so, Myles, Brady, and two other boys stood beside my bed.

One boy was very tall and skinny and the other boy was my height, but very large. They all stared at me.

I didn't realize but I was sweating from my face to toes. I sat up and felt that my bedding was completely dry. Strange.

"Ugh...look at all this sweat." I exclaimed while wicking it off my hands.

"Uh...sorry to tell you this mate, but uh...you're not even sweating." The large boy said.

    Spencer POV

I woke up not tired, surprisingly. Probably because I had so much on my mind.

From being in Slytherin too how I'm going to be able to be with my friend's.

"Wake up runt!" I heard a banging on my door. "Classes start in thirty!"

I hadn't realized, but I was still the only one in the dorm. No one else wanted to be in here I guess.

I stood and threw on my robes. I straightened my badge and combed my short blonde hair.

Lucky for Joseph, he shaved his head. Probably only a centimeter of hair on his scalp.

I kneeled in front of my pack and looked through it. I had my books, quills, extra bottles of ink, but no wand. Where was my wand?

I sprinted out the door, ran down the spiral staircase to where I found three boys, older than me, messing with my wand.

It only responded to me, so I had no worries about them using it on me.

"Oh hey there runt." one of the boys smirked. "Want your wand? Go fetch!"

The boy threw it to his buddy. From there they kept tossing it. I didn't know what to do. But I had to do something fast.

But before I could act, the wand disappeared. The boys were awestruck.

Suddenly I felt a shift in my inner pocket of my robes. My hand went straight to there.

I felt my wand. And I pulled it out. Of course I didn't know any spells but I could threaten.

"Stupify." I heard a girl whisper in my ear as she continued to walk on reading her book.

The boys started to laugh because I wasn't doing anything, and they began to move at me. I raised my wand but they still continued to laugh.

"Stupify!" I shouted at one of they boys, and a bolt of light bursted from my wand and hit him square in the the chest.

His friends gasped and began to pull out their wands but I stopped them. I continued to use the spell before they could act.

But then a jolt of energy hit my body and I flew at the wall. My left arm stung from pain and my vision blurred.

The last I saw was a man in black robes kneel over me, and use a spell on me. And everything went black.
