OBAMA IS ONLY HALF BLACK!! GODDAMN, Am I the only one that remembers this??? Everyone praises his blackness and casts off the whiteness. Do you people not realize that this mentality is only FURTHER pushing segregation?? We'll never eradicate prejudice and racism when people keep putting, praising, or celebrating one ethnic group over the other. We need to be (in the US) just plain Americans and quit separating ourselves.
First of all, mostly everyone was racist back in the day due to the social environment they grew up in. The KKK were not just random people, they were your neighbors, the police, heck even government officials. To be honest, the only reason Obama is up there is because he is the "first" black president. He's half. I don't get why people trip so much and vote for someone just because of their skin color and not their qualifications to be one. I have nothing against African Americans but lets face it, they weren't the only ones enslaved. I know it may sound insensitive to say, but that was the norm back then, now just because it was common doesn't mean it's right. I'm also a minority before you start judging me.
