  1. I ran down the road with a pistol in my pocket, it was dark, thats when they come for you. That's when their hunger becomes unsatsified no matter how much they eat. I run into a vacant warehouse, locking the doors and making no sound. Sound attracts those things, they have an undying hunger. This happened a month ago, yes, the zombie apocolypse happened a month ago. It's finally real, ours nightmares have came true. My house is probably filled with walkers, I had to leave my parents. They fell from the roof top, didn't fall to their deaths, I couldn't shoot that far. I saw them yesterday, they tried to attack me. It was hard to put a knife in their heads, but it had to be done. I was in a vacant warehouse, supposing that it's 8:00 PM it's winter. I have a child with me, she says she's 6 yrs old. She has curly brown hair, I can't put of MISSING signs in a zombie apocolypse. She had a bear, it was covered in dirt and blood. She must've been through a lot. She was upset, she remembered the blood curdling screech of her mother. She was told that she was loved and will never be forgotten. I saved her, she was in a cabinet in a old apartment I scoped for food and medicine. In the day we ran, in the night we find shelter. Tonight is the night, we run from Atlanta and go to Texas. Tonight is the night, we get lives and friends. Because it hasn't struck in Texas, not quite yet..

  2. Because Texas has Yosemite Sam with loads guns and cowboys. That's why zombies are hopeless in Texas, even babies have guns in Texas.

  4. Warehouse 6:15 AM

The child and I dug in the cabinets searching for left over food from last night.

I grabbed my pistol of the shelf and out the child's bear in a backpack I found.

I kneeled down eye-level with her "What's your name, sweetie?" I said in a low voice.

"My name is Clemintine" she said in a whisper

I picked her up, running out of the warehouse as the sun beat on my face and my back.

I couldn't run very fast, the weight on my hip was slowing me down and the backpack didn't help. Walkers saw me, all I could do was shoot and keep Clemintine protected.

That was my goal, to teach her how to survive. To teach her how to use a gun.

I want to see the day she tells her husband and children that she survived the walkers that invaded Atlanta.

But, if I can only see it from Heaven and she's telling it, I'll still be happy.

I may have met her yesterday, but we really connect. We are really fond of eachother

I run with her in my hand and my dirty, golden hair brusing against my neck, making me sweat anymore

I've been running for 45 minutes, I find a shed.

I enter the big shed and shut the doors.

"It looks like the owners were prepared for the apocolypse" I say mumbling.

"I guess so.." Clem replies quietly.

I lock the doors and when I turn around, there is a walker child.

    Shed 12:00 PM

Clem and I stood there completely shocked, she cowered behind me. "C-Courtney, who is that?"

"It's the child who once lived here, I'm guessing" I Said quietly walking towards the walker child.

"Close your eyes, Clem." I said in a slightly firm tone.

"Wha-what? Why?" she said wide eyed.

"Clem close your eyes!" I said quietly but firm, she closed her eyes.

I walked towards the boy with a knife in my hands, I sat beside the boy, taking deep breaths.

His small arms gripping my pants, ungripping, and his arms fail to hold up.

"I'm sorry..." I whispered, closing my eyes, I drove the knife in the boys head and pulling it out.

I put the body outside and then shut and latched the door, once again.

"You may open your eyes, Clem" I said calmly.

She opened her eyes, she layed down, once she gave Clem her bear she drifted asleep in a corner away from the door.

I sat down, only to raise to my feet in a flash from pounding on the shed doors, each pound the door sunk towards me, following by pounding, came scratching, then the worst of all, moaning.

I grabbed Clem and put her behind me, waking her up.

The door broke open and many walkers came walking (of course, very slowly) in.

I grabbed my gun only for it to be knocked out of my hands by a walker close to me.
