How do I know this? Well....it's very simple. So, today it was announced that season 5 will be the last season of Merlin. What? What!? WHAT!?!? Okay, so all of the hardcore Merlin fans (like me) knew this day was coming. We knew the show would be ending around 5 or 6. Why not 6!? Why can't we have one more season? WHY!? WHHHY!? There is only one explanation for why this happen.... No, but seriously the creators told us time and time again that they were thinking about a sixth season. Why did you all have to lie to us? And then crush us? And now I have to wait until Jan. because I live in the states. I won't even be able to watch it knowing it's the last one. I just....can't even. And I'm so scared to see how it ends. We all know how the traditional legend ends. I just......omg. I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HANDLE SEEING BRADLEY DIE. NO. NO. NO. NO!!! But.....that will probably happen. MERLIN FOREVER!!!!!!!!!! And if you don't know what Merlin is.... Well....you must live a very unhappy life. Okay....sad Fangirl rant over. *runs away*
The TV series is different from the legend (if you're a big fan like you said you are, you must know this. There are a few changes made). Watch the last season, you may get lucky.
Yeah....I think I might be a huge and real fan of the legend. I have enjoyed the mix up of the legend. I've seen interviews with Colin kind of hinting about the death of Arthur. And even though that's how it's suppose to happen..... I would be perfectly fine if it ended with Mordred dying. It's going to be a tear jerking anyway. And if you don't know what Merlin is...it's a TV show. You can go on a certain streaming thing and watch seasons 1-4. (won't name it because idk if I'd be silenced) but its very.....red.
