The next day at school as I began walking to meet up with Morgan, a Freshman bumped into me and said "watch where you're going and stay away from my girl" he managed to say through gritted teeth. I looked at him and all of a sudden it clicked who it was, "you sent me that note" "Damn right I did punk" "Listen bro she clearly don't like you. So just back off" I replied. He quickly went to through a punch and I ducked making him punch the locker. He quickly grabbed his hand in pain. "Don't mess with my bro." I said. he went to throw another punch and I grabbed his hand and twisted his arm around behind his back. Next thing I knew we drew a crowd around us, and Morgan was also there. "Johnny! David! Stop now!!" I let his wrist go and he punched me right in the nose making me fall backwards. I touched my hand to my nose and all I saw was blood. He stood above me smiling. I jumped up and lunged towards him causing us to begin wrestling around on the ground. Next thing I knew two teachers were pulling me off of him. I threw in a couple more punches before I was completely off. Two teachers pulled me back and one teacher helped David off the ground. Morgan came running over to me and hugged me all she could say was "I'm sorry" I hugged her back and then we were separated. And escorted to the office with my nose still bleeding and his eye slowly turning black and blue.
When I got home that night I was in even more trouble with my parents. I got suspended from school for 3 days and now it's time for my parents punishment...oh joy. "Son" my dad called up the stairs, "living room now!" He said. I came down the stairs and did what he said.
"What are you doing getting into a fight with a freshman?" He asked. "Umm well you see it was over a girl" I said and then looked down at the ground. " you fought and got suspended your junior year because of a GIRL?!" His face began to steam up, I think smoke was even coming out of his ears. "You're grounded! No tv, no computer, no iPod; 2 weeks" "What two weeks?" I said now standing. " Mom." I said hoping she'd do something. "This is up to your father Hun." She said then went back into the kitchen. "Wanna make it three?" He said "No sir." I said as I looked down at the ground. "That's what I thought, so go up to your room now and stay there till dinner" "Yes sir." I replied as I walked up stairs. Then my phone vibrated. It was from Morgan. I hit ignore and threw my phone across the room and it hit of my wall and fell to the floor. I laid there on my bed with nothing to do bored as all get out. Two minutes felt like two hours. It was like watching grass grow. 3 days later at school. Those 3 days were as slow as watching paint dry. Morgan had even tried texting me but I never responded...not to even one text. Maybe I should just forget about her. David can have her, I began to think. But I really like her. She's all I thought about on the bus. How much I've missed her and can't wait to see her...how much I need to just forget about her. I didn't know what to do. I got to school and managed to avoid her and David up to fifth period. But we have lunch together so this will be interesting. I got to lunch and right away saw Morgan, I started walking the other way but she already saw me and waved with that cute little smile. "i love that smile" I thought but acted acted like I didn't notice her and walked over to the guy table where all my friends were at. " maybe I'll eat lunch here" I thought. "Hey Johnny." They all said "take a seat bro." So I did. This won't be so bad. I thought. I looked over my shoulder to where Morgan was, her face was red and could she could possibly cry any moment. "Gosh I like her. Now I feel bad" I thought. "Now I'm not even hungry...."
Johnny's Pov Now people consider me the popular guy at school. I have blonde hair, blue eyes and an eight pack. I even play football, baseball and soccer. Girls say I'm the whole package; I'm even sensitive, sweet and caring and a bit of a flirt. But sometimes I'm not so sure if I am the whole package. Now Morgan is a short girl, with long wavy blonde hair and blue eyes. She has that smile that melts my heart. Gosh I love her. Why did David have to come between us. I look over my shoulder at Morgan again and guess who's sitting there? Yup you guessed it; David. Morgan pushes him away says stop leave me alone and eventually he walked away with tears still rolling down her face. I turn back around and nestle my head into my arms on the table then a tear rolls down my face and onto my lap.
I'm pretty surprised that this got this far without proper criticism... First of all, the storyline is just sad. Personally, this 'boy gets hot girl' topic is way overdone. I couldn't even get through the first update without face-desking. The characters have no diversity. They're all untastefully cliche. The introduction was terrible. My advice, don't make the POV be aware that they're telling a story. The last time I read an intro like that was "Hi, my name is Junie B. Jones..." That's right. It's lower than par to a kindergarten book. The updates are way too short. And to you readers, it's almost despicable that you carelessly bump this without paying any attention to the obvious flaws.
