  1. Hit submit by mistake!

She got back up from the couch and took her dad into the kitchen, I was intrigued in what she was talking to her father about but it wasn't my business to pry into things not concerning me. She walked to the threshold of the kitchen, where the living room and kitchen met and called for me to come over, "yes?" I asked when I had got to her, she led me in to sit at the black marble island, " Justin, Avery has come to my attention that Connor got into the house. If this is fine with you, I have worked out a routine, so to speak, on Avery's safety. Would you be fine with coming over around 7PM and staying overnight while I'm working? I'll be home in time for you to go to school." Mark was reaching out to me, he wanted his daughter safe and I wanted her safe too, he was trusting me with Avery's safety, "yes, sir. You want her safe as much as I do, I would love to help you keep her safe and I will try my best. Have you took her out of school?" Mark nodded his head, agreeing to my safe comment, "yes, I took her out this morning. I was on a phone conference with her teachers and the principal, they thought it was best to let her do her work from home." Avery looked back over at me, her eyes wide, I knew that face, she was only minutes from breaking me down. I opened my arms wide for her and she lunged into them, I wrapped my arms around her upper back, it was cute that she only came to about two inches above my belly button. I told her it was going to be okay, Connor wasn't going to get her, that only seemed to make her begin to cry, I begged her not to, I couldn't stand to hear her. Mark and I worked out our routine, Monday to Friday I was going to come over at 7PM and stay until 6:50AM, which I had already graduated, I graduated early but I wasn't going to mention it, Avery needed more time to be with Kelsey or her dad, I didn't want her too preoccupied with me that she forgot everyone else in the world existed.

Since I graduated early my parents became less involved with my social life, I moved out and got my own place. My parents still come to check on me and help me if I need it, they just seem to distant themselves from talking to me about getting a "decent" girlfriend, at least one they approved of, they always managed to find one flaw with my girlfriend, and hate on me for that, I knew that Avery was going to be a challenge for them, she's really different. I was in this relationship with Avery until she decided she had enough of me and wanted to leave, I had a feeling that Avery was going to be the one that I was going to marry, not that stupid "because I love her" crap, I could see just from watching her interact with people and how she was with me, that she was the one worth marrying, not saying I was going to out today to Tiffany's or whatever that place is called that women drool for and get her a 20KT diamond ring and pop the question, no. It's too soon for that, marriage was something her and I have to talk about, plan, prepare and them get with it, I was going to slowly introduce her to the topic of it, but nothing to make her think I would want to get married, I didn't even want to to be married at nineteen, maybe my early 20's.

Avery and I were on the couch, Kelsey was in the floor spinning around on her butt, getting dizzy, falling over and repeating. It was amusing to watch how Kelsey kept herself entertained, and to see how little it took to amuse her. Avery was just easy to make her laugh, she could laugh at anything, but if you tickled her or she laughed hard enough she would get this laugh as if it were a donkey dying and she snorted too, it was just too cute to hear it. I loved it and I always tried to get her to do it

  7. *back to Avery*

I was glad to see that my dad and Justin were getting along like friends, since Justin was older I knew he had more maturity and responsibility on his side than most guys do, but Justin has really showed me. Justin and my dad were watching the football game, luckily they liked almost the same teams, Justin liked the Lions since his hometown was Michigan. I didn't mind watching football, I grew up around it with my family during holidays. Kelsey had no clue What was going on, on the TV, she just blurted out random things and I couldn't help to laugh. I decided to take a shower, I let Kelsey in my room to keep her occupied long enough so that the guys could watch the game.

Once I was dressed and walked into my room, I had seen that Kelsey completely renovated my furniture, I was in complete and utter shock. It had took her a total of twenty-five minutes to rearrange my bed, dresser, vanity and smaller dresser, she stood at the door with a grin on her face, like a dog when it had gotten into the trash while you was away grocery shopping and you came home and the dog is beaming with joy about the mess he made like he's saying "I made this for you." But I wasn't mad at her, I actually really liked it, it gave me a lot more room, "wow, Kelsey. You did all this?" I asked surprised, still looking around at my newly arranged bedroom. "UGH! No it was the creeper, don't point" I laughed at her "I love it, Kelsey. That's pretty fast to rearrange a room and my stuff isn't light." I giggled.

We walked downstairs, ignoring the guys and went straight to the kitchen, Kelsey grabbed a Twizzler and dipped it into the sugar jar, I shook my head and just waited for the atomic hyperactive bomb to go off.

I sat on the chase looking out of the window, the wind blowing the trees around harshly, the sly angrily filled with dark grey clouds almost made it look like night time. I rushed over to the TV and flicked the channel button down by two channels to watch the weather. The alerts, watches and warnings filled the bottom of the screen, the meteorologist warned us of an incoming snow storm, effecting everyone heavily on the east coast, including us, North Carolina. Predicting a few inches here and there and even up to eight feet in the mountains, where we were, "freaking holy snow gods above!" shouted Kelsey, I blurted out a laugh, "guess we're going to be snowed in for a few days" I sighed, I hated snow but I had to deal, it was about this time of year that we got our first snow fall.

  8. Bumpppppp!!!!!!!!!! Amazing!

  9. I'm going to have a update soon!!

  10. Justin and my dad stared at the TV in sure disbelief, "Avery, I don't think it's going to be just a few days, dear." Dad called back to me, I looked back at the screen, I noticed an ice warning and another snow storm. I wanted to take a revolver to My head than deal with snow, I couldn't tolerate it. I was going to be stuck with Justin, Kelsey and dad, It couldn't be that bad.

"Well, at least we can bond and know each other. Kelsey, do you need to phone your parents?" She dashed over to The living room and I handed her my cell out from the pocket of my hoodie, she dialed the number and proceeded to step into the adjacent room, the guest room. A few moments later she returned, handing me back my cell, I returned it back into the pocket, "Mark, my mom said not to worry, she would rather me stay here and be safe than for you to have to get stuck in the storm."

I went back to The chase, staring out the window, gloomy days always seemed to get me down. I sat and slowly felt the boredom washing over my uninterested mind and my forlorn like body, I knew nothing was going to cheer me up except for if the storm went away, it would ignite the spark to shoot up through my dead like body and bring me back to life.

Justin came and sat on the chase, his mood resembling mine once he had noticed. He managed a grin, something I didn't even think I could do in this miserable mood, he made a wide grin slowly appear on my face. I leaned up to hug him, he pulled me close and held me tight, though he didn't say it was going to be okay or even that the storm would soon subside, his hug said everything I wanted to hear.

We passed the time from Kelsey insisting we play games, mostly card and board. She had an idea to incorporate all the board games and make one big game, it worked for a bit before we all got confused. Mark decided to turn on the fireplace and let us roast marshmallows, I tried telling Kelsey once she had enough but of course she didn't listen, she burnt all of hers and simply devoured them all.

Justin placed me in hip lap next to the fireplace and slowly rocked me back and forth, I was soon fast asleep but I could hear the echo of Justin's voice when he talked, my head resting on his chest. "Little people get worn out easily with such big days." He lightly chucked and so did Kelsey, dad joked back "heigt jokes aren't funny, they seen to come up a bit short." I didn't say anything but I bit my tongue, holding back a few choice words to myself.
