The others finally caught up with us and I could hear Justin laughing "forget something?" He said waving the key around " so? We still beat you" I said back to him with my tongue out. He inserted the key and opened the door, I jumped on the first bed, the one that's against the wall, I never really liked the bed next to the balcony. I claimed my spot with my bag as the rest of them figured out a sleeping arrangement, Dylan claimed a chair, saying he didn't care where he was, or how un-comfortable it was, he could sleep soundly anywhere. Tyler took the chair in front of Dylan. Amelia took to the floor in between the beds, I offered to let her sleep with me but she insisted on the floor, Kelsey took the spot next to me and that left Justin to a bed, himself. I handed Amelia one of the blankets off my bed and she wrapped herself up like a burrito, Justin handed her his extra pillow and she quickly dosed off. Dylan was already snoring like freight train, Justin was watching ESPN, Tyler was getting annoyed from Dylan's snoring and Kelsey and I were trying to be quiet with our overly hyper activity. I asked her if she wanted to go to the game room but Justin interjected saying we stay in the room until the morning. I stood up on the bed and bounced over to Justin's "someone's a bunny rabbit tonight" he joked leaving me with a grin on my face, Kelsey followed after me but she miscalculated her landing and hit her head on the headboard, after asking if she was okay, she couldn't respond back because she was laughing too hard. I was trying to be quiet, I had my hands covering my mouth and trying to laugh quietly but tiny snorts and giggles escaped causing Justin to start laughing and Kelsey and I to laugh even harder. Justin offered me to bunk with him and just let Kelsey drag Amelia's snoozing body to bunk with her. I felt awkward, I never bunked with a guy before except for my dad when I was a baby. He promised to stay on his side and wouldn't let anything suspicious happen, I trusted him, and he put a pillow between us. We watched as Kelsey tried to quietly and carefully pull Amelia onto the bed with her, it was too funny, Kelsey was making faces as if she were constipated, but yet focused, she finally succeeded and we all went to bed. The next morning I woke up, facing Justin and snuggled in his arms. Him and I just stared awkwardly at each other, with my eyes widened from surprise and shock. Dylan, who was already up and had noticed my facial expression made a relationship comment, causing Justin to laugh but remark back to be quiet. I was holding back a laugh, trying to be serious, I looked back at Justin, awkwardly "uhm, I'll just uhh.. Move.. Now" I said blushing and pushing myself back to my side. I was glad Kelsey was still sleeping or else I would've got comments all day about this, I made Dylan to promise not to tell her and with a slight chuckle he promised. It felt nice to finally catch up on sleep without worrying about the whereabouts of Connor. I don't know if it was the bed itself but I woke up feeling great, like I could walk all around the world and still have energy to run a marathon, which, for me was a first, considering I'm definitely not a morning person at all. Amelia was next to wake up, she was definitely the 'sunshine' in the group with her warm smile and bubbly personality. Since we had to check out before twelve I decided I would put clothes on, I grabbed my bag and dashed into the bathroom, putting on some lightly destroyed skinny jeans, a tank top, a pull over light orange but yet bright hoodie, and Ugg boots. I returned to my spot beside Justin, to see Tyler waking up and cracking his back against the chair and mumbling " oh, sweet merciful Jesus, that's good" and Justin had turned the TV back on to ESPN, "football?" I asked bubbly, "no, just highlights" I smiled and watched it with him. Kelsey screamed " HOLY POLAR MONKEYS" I giggled as Amelia jumped and saved herself from falling off the edge of the bed " good morning, sunshine. Have a nice dream?" Kelsey bursted out with a laugh " seizure alert, Amelia, save yourself" Amelia beamed giggly "I'm fine" Justin lightly grabbed my hand, kissing the top of it " we should get going, it's 11:30" I smiled with a slight nod in agreement. For some funny and strange reason I felt like the mom, Justin as the father, and Dylan, Tyler, Amelia and Kelsey our children "okay kids, it's time to go", Kelsey made one of her signature grunts "whoa! Okay, mother" I giggled and so did Justin, who had offered to carry my bag but I insisted. Kelsey and I raced to elevator and this time we waited for the others to catch up. I glanced over to see how close they was to us, telling Kelsey to go ahead and push the button, she pressed it at least 50 times, "Kelsey! What are you doing!?" She grunted again, "it's so pushy!" I shook my head at her with a laugh", we piled into the elevator, I was holding Kelsey back from pushing all the buttons, we got off and Justin went to check us out, tossing me the car keys. We all walked to the car, except Kelsey and Tyler who had raced to claim their spots in the back, I opened the trunk, putting my bag in, closing the trunk and walking to the passenger seat. I put the key in the ignition, turning the car on and turning the heat up, it was so cold there was a bit of frost gracing over the surface of everything. The car was quickly but still yet slowly warming up, Kelsey found my CD case and handed me 6 random CD's as I put them in, I hit play and let the fun begin for her. Justin entered the car, looking at me with a warm grin, and we drove off.
We stopped at a rest area to stretch out out legs, get snacks and use the restroom. Kelsey and I got an iced coffee from the vending machine, Kelsey went crazy with the sugar button and I just knew no one could be prepared for this atomic bomb of a sugar high. Amelia came out of the snack area with her beaming grin " hey guys, I have an idea! " She said taking her seat next to me, " what is it, Amelia? " she giggled " I think we should all spend the day together, we have the day off, I mean why not? Avery needs time with her friends, she needs a day with no worries, no stress, just a good time with her new close, and new best friends" I sighed " but, Amelia, none of us has any money, we can't really do anything "fun" without money. " she giggled " come on! I have my dads credit card, well, sort of, he would let me use it in a time like this, it'll be the first time I get to, anyways. He keeps telling me to find a use for it before it expires. " Justin and Tyler both joined us, " what's going on, girls? " Justin asked standing in front of me " Amelia, I don't know. I don't want you using your dads money on us. " Amelia scrunched up her face, crossing her arms " Avery! I insist! I need to use this card before it expires and I plan to use it on you guys" I couldn't take her serious voice very serious, she was completely adorable being upset, and funny too. " okay, Amelia, calm down. You can spend it how you please." She quickly returned her warm smile, and bubbly personality. Dylan came out and joined us, " well, lets talk in the car" Justin said, grabbing my hand and pulling me up" We all piled back in the car and tossed out ideas from whatever popped in our heads. Amelia suggested the mall " come on, Avery. You need a make-over!" I had no clue what to say, I thought I looked fine but once Amelia continued " Connor wouldn't notice you" I thought over her idea, if maybe I did change my outer appearance, Connor really wouldn't know who I was, I did want to change my long, straight, and light brown hair. " I guess it couldn't hurt to change something's, but lets not go crazy, okay?" Amelia beamed with sunshine "you got it!" Justin got onto the interstate and we drove to the mall " Avery, you know, you would look pretty beautiful with strawberry blond hair with some curl to it and a nice light blue at the tip... Not that I know anything about women's hair and stuff" Justin's light milk chocolate complexion on his face gave off a subtle tint of red "someone's flirty!" Dylan joked, I giggled at them "thank you, Justin, that was sweet" Justin grinned at me causing me to giggle.
