Think Before You Speak...

  1. Hey peeps, Pooh here.

    The election was/is today!

    Now, I know exactly what you're thinking: this is gonna be a huge rant thread about who I'm voting for and why I am. Guess what: WRONG.

    I am making this for one soul purpose: I'm thinking about all the controversies that are coming up because of the election.

    Listen to me: PiMD is NOT the best place for discussing politics! Everyone is simply going to get angry at each other for one reason or another, and so many people are going to strip-farm each other and shit!

    If it were me, I would talk about it. Not on PiMD, but in real life, with people I know and trust. If they're voting for the other, I would listen to their points, and see what it can teach me, how I can change my view on things. Heated discussions aren't for us: it's the candidates' jobs to do that.

    We have to know what we say before we say it, or else PiMD will get really really shitty. Just saying. Think before you speak.

  4. Open discussion on politics is an American right and freedom. Personally I love hearing people's different takes on the issues that are out there. If you don't like it, don't read it.

    Of course we could have more meaning conversations like:
    1. Mod applications
    2. Unfair silences
    3. Threads about enlarging or coloring texts
    4. Apologies
    5. Wedding wars
    6. Search for love

  6. I hate the elections for two reasons
    A.Polotics are EVERYWHERE
    B. The fighting
    People say you can voice your own opinion but then they criticize you for it just read campus 

  8. Bane, I understand. I love hearing other people's opinions on politics as well, but if you look at Campus, and look at people's walls, nobody is really keeping it under control... And some actually have no background information to support their choices... Note the title: Think Before You Speak. 

    I suppose it's pretty easy to get sick of it, but personally I find it intriguing when I'm on the forums and entertaining in WC. Nice change from pervs and newbs. Not that they aren't there.
