~Flashback~ He looked out the view port. Fire, death, and chaos spread everywhere. He sensed their despair and loss and took it all in. The sound of gun fire was music to his ears. Just being able to literally hear the pilots last screams before being blasted into space dust was joy to this forsaken world. Yet something was wrong. Something....that clouded his mind. They were winning too easily. As if this was just a distraction and the worst was yet to come. The calm before the storm, someone might say. "They have breached our defensives." Ah, there it is. The moment he was waiting for. "Let them come. They'll die before they can even get up here." He turned around to the frightened captain. The captain cowered before him like an animal waiting to be slaughtered. That's all they were now. "But they have already reached the brig," the captain whispered. Then his neck seemed to tighten. The captain clawed at his neck fruitlessly. But the pressure didn't release. If anything, it got tighter. "Stop, we might need him." Another man entered the bridge. His cape flowing behind him like a wave of pure red energy. The pressure on the captain's neck released and he scurried away. "They're here," the newer man said. The other sighed and turned around. "And they brought her," he said. "Then we are fighting a loosing battle."
I'm liking it. Especially that you started with a flash back. Seems a bit rushed, but I saw that you posted that it was in your head, so you were probably typing whatever came. All in all, good job. ?Check my post; Slaughter.
~Present~ I woke with a jolt. It wasn't because of the endless nightmare playing over and over. It was a sudden bump that made me hit my head on the bed. I opened my eyes suddenly and sat up. I was in some type of room on a ship. The walls were completely metal with red and blue stripes. There was a window off to one side where I could see another ship firing at us. I stood up and examined the room more closely. Next to my bed was another. Then a metal locker of some sort of to the side. I walked over to it and opened it up. Inside was a red jacket and blue pants. Along with them were a couple of swords and blaster. I put the swords on the utility belt and held the twin pistols. I walked over to the door and opened it; just as another blast shook the ship. I braced myself and waited for it to stop. The I walked out of the room.
