if that's what the silence was for I'm not sure i can defend the decision all silences should be black and white decisions not what the moderator thinks you might be saying etc ata and moderators need to be careful here they are potentially losing revenue if we keep going down this path of ridiculous silences however I'm not sure that was the reason the silence happened and the mods are usually good at what they do

Almost seemed like someone decided to shut him up on all medium of communication there definitely doesn't seem to be a plausible cause for banning him on forum also
Okay. I have no idea about the silence, I'm just posting towards OP after reading the thread. No one can be forum banned for nothing. Even if the mod has a 'personal' vendetta with your friend, support will not ban without a reason. Also, posting these sorts of statements can have you silenced. Keep it behind ToU lines if you want to discuss it. That's all.
