Every since I was little, I used to go to a camp only a few miles away from me: Camp Oak Orchard. I used to go for the Girl Scout camporee. It was every two years for the week end. My troop went every time. But now the service unit has little money. They were forces to sell the camp. Next year was supposed to be this big camporee. Now there won't be one. We'll have to find a new camp. My troop and I were the last ones to sleep at the camp in March. This is a tribute to the old camp. A logging company bought it and there's a ceremony tonight. Please post your favorite camp songs. You don't have to be a Girl Scout to post. Rainbow Love We're a rainbow made of children An army just singing a song There's no weapon that can stop us Rainbow love is much too strong. RIP Camp Oak Orchard.
My troop leader told me that the county told the loggers that cant cut down anymore trees for ten years. That's how much they already cut down already.
