    Why do The Hunger Games exist? The government. Why? For media and to scare freedom out of

    These kids didn't want to kill each other. It was either that or the government would kill them. In the second book...when the government forces Katniss to go back to the game to kill her without making a scene. They all team up and take down the fucking government.
