With the amount of RPs on the rise, I figured we could use a story. ___________ "September 6, Year 2031 My name is Sage Nolk, age 22. I once lived in an apartment alone. Now I live in the underground bunker below the city Enden. All I can hear is explosions and bullets. I have no idea what's going on and I'm scared beyond belief."
"Date: unknown The other citizens and I have been trapped in this bunker for two weeks now. I think. It's difficult to keep track of time and the date at this point. The guards always tell us everything will be alright and that we'll be going home soon, but no one believes them. You can expect a day of panicking on regular basis."
"Date: irrelevant Hell is beginning to break loose. I need to escape before anyone turns on me. The war above is still going on, but I can make it. And if I can't... Well, death is better than this hole." ________ Sage closed his journal and pushed his way through the crowd of angry citizens. Food and water was short and fighting was unavoidable at times. The guards were busy, this was Sage's chance. He ran for the door, he didn't look back.
The minute Sage ran out that door, he was introduced to hell itself. The explosions made his ears ring, the yelling of soldiers filled him with fear, and the destroyed scenery of the city he once called home made him sad. But now wasn't the time. He ran through the ruins of the city fast as he could, wary of any fighting that he could get caught in. No fighting was going on in his area, but he could still hear it. As he ran, death was a reoccurring thought. He was sure he wouldn't make it. Make it where? He didn't know. Did it matter?
As the explosions rang through his ears, Segg felt the presence of someone else. He didn't turn around to see of someone else really WAS there, but simply kept running as fast as he could. He began to here yelling behind him that he couldn't understand, still, he didn't stop. He eventually grew weak from the smoke, which choked him and left him with no air. The yelling got closer as he collapsed to the ground. He had passed out.
