Have you ever wondered what goes on at a teachers convention? Many of y'all know I have a job teaching and supervising troubled teen boys at a boarding school, who are one step away from Juvie. The task can be challenging at times, when the teens literally will try to attack you. But, anyway. That isn't the point of this thread! I have just attended my first teachers convention, and just like I would sleep in school.... I basically fell asleep for half the workshops that were going on. Getting up at 4:30 to travel 2 1/2 hours didn't help either. I was wondering! What do all you guys who are not teachers think goes on during these conventions? I would be interested in knowing! I always thought they went and just ate free food and hung out all day.
Halimah, don't be such a hater. I think they'd talk about how they're going to plan 5 tests and quizzes on the same day.
._. Hermes, let's say I went to a christian school. Would I be expelled if I hit a kid outside of school?
Sasuke lol But, that happens all the time in our school lol. People get cracked upside the head regularly. Since we are half a military school, they would get physical exercise.
I would think they'd have different professionals discussing diverse topics related to the job; maybe some free time to interact with colleagues and some refreshments. Maybe a few presentations as well? Am I way off?
I feel like they group up and talk about which student to hate and talk about why their class is the worst
