I didn't say I agreed with it, but the writers who vote players in seem to always say he's got a pretty good resume for it. I'm in no way an Eagles fan. I'm just unbiased.

Nope, but there's a problem with you of you think Vick is up to the nfl standard of a quarterback from where he's performed recently. He was good with Atlanta, but after the jail time and then going to the eagles, he's not the same. He shouldn't be in the nfl as a second-string.

I agree he's not as good as he was in Atlanta. But, his throwing mechanics are better than in Atlanta. He's just not as explosive. He's just gotten old.

 

His throwing mechanics are definitely not better... He had the record for most passing yards one year in Atlanta didn't he? And he just threw 4 interceptions. So...

 

Eagles fans think that every year is the year they're having a breakthrough and will have a nice record and go on to win the super bowl and all that. You guys called them the dream team last year. At 8-8, the only dream they were is a nightmare.

His mechanics have improved. And for a running quarterback to compete with Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and Matt Stafford for most yards is sort of an unfair comparison. They are different styles. I honestly prefer a pocket passer, but I like mike Vick. I feel bad for the guy. Don't think he deserved to go to jail for as long as he did.

 

Yet Stallworth kills a guy and gets 30 days.
