The Arena Introduction-The Arena is a story I will be writing based on a gladiator manager keeping gladiators. This story is, um different then normal stories. There are several gladiator managers who have different gladiators. Gladiators go through training and weapons are purchased, but here's the catch. When there is a gladiator fight and one wins, unless the gladiator's head was chopped off or something, then the readers will act as the audience and give the thumbs up or thumbs down on the loser to see if they live or die. Another difference is the gladiators have stats that will be shown. Such as strength, agility, endurance, and wits. Give me feedback please! Constructive criticism is appreciated! Oh, and character names and species too please I have several species below. Humans-specialize in logic Elves-specialize in swords Dwarves-specialize in hammers Centaurs-specialize in bows Goblins-(come in hordes of various sizes) specialize in scimitars Ogres-specialize in brute force Griffins(with riders)-specialize in flight Lions-specialize in savage force Assassin-specialize in throwing knives Side note-there are different mythical species that fight as well as humans, and there are more than one on one fights, but those are the most common. Side note-dragons and griffins are expensive and usually only come in large battles
Almost sounds like a game. Lol. Interesting idea, I like that you introduce an interactive element, but ultimately, only you can make the story good through great writing.
It was supposed to sound like a game and I understand that I can make a story good, but I wanted to add the interactive element so I didn't kill off a fan favorite and it gives a hook to keep people reading. The main reason I made this was to get ideas for new species to see if I missed any though.
