Well this post is gonna be about the U.S. Army. I'd like some tips and advice or so and maybe stories from current soldiers or new recruits...like me Well last week I went to the recruitment center and I signed up and am in the system, all I need is about 4 more pounds to make weight xD...well I'm planning on going in as active. Umm the recruiter says that I'm gonna go in as a E-3 or Private First Class thanks to my JROTC in highschool but I'm going into bootcamp to do BCT around January. So that gives me time to finish my first semester of college. I've heard from the recruiter (Sgt. Knott) that the training or so has change alot since he's been in it, they don't really yell at you much, their changing it up into dorm rooms and no more shining shoes and other such...id say more if I could remember but I forgot xD It sounds easy like they are trying to soften you up or so but at least they are still training you...I plan on becoming a MP (Military Police). I want to go to a college with ROTC In It while in BCT so I can be an officer when I'm out... I don't know why anyone would make up anything about the military so I need some advice...and maybe other people interested in the army

I have a brother stationed in Germany and a few other family members currently Helping take care of our country. i wanted to join the army and become a combat medic or even some type of officer but in the medical areas of course but im staying back to be with my lover lol I'll keep you and all of your future army friends in my prayers.

keep in mind a recruiters job is to get ur signature on that paper so he may have been exaggerating just a little bit. be prepared is all I'm saying.
If you want to become a mp you most likely will go to FLW in Missouri, the DS still yell at you. but it's not as hard as before

They are getting easier depending where you go. I was at Ft. Jackson SC E 2-60th They were NOT easy there. Ever heard of Tank Hill? Hope you never do. Just blend in with the crowd and get through basic. It's not so bad. And don't fucking cry. You'll be alright. —

I'm in the Marines. Camp Lejeune, was my basic training post. If the Army is anything like the marines, it isn't all that bad. I mean yeah they are a bunch of ass holes at the camp. But you'll adapt. It's not to bad.
