Alright this is my first time posting a story, itll probably not be that good becuase i thought of it randomly one day. Critisism is highly apreciated i want to grow as a writer. This is just a short story. Here it goes. Today is the day. I had been working on this for the good part of 2 months preparing this gift for Valentines day. It was a necklace I had taken careful time making. Every engravement, every glistening pearl carefully put together all to show the heart-shaped locket in the center. In the locket was a note with three words in "I Love You". Now im not the most hansom guy in my school. Girls dont gossip about how they've always wanted to date me. No, thats not me, but i knew i had to do this now or never do it at all. I was going to give Ashley Dare, head cheerleader, this necklace. ________________________ im adding the second part now
Part 2 As I sat in my not-so-goodlooking car I held the necklace tight, so tight my hand began to shake I immediatly stopped I wasnt going to be neverous at all. I got out of my car and headed up the grand steps to the "Rich Kid school" as some people call it or just Adile High. My parents were the poorest rich people out of the whole school but they were still rich. As I walked in I saw the intricate hall way of graduated classes from when the school had just opened. I could never explain the whole school, that is how massive it is. The only chance I had was after school today. That was the only time I would see her but it would be the perfect amount of time. Hopefully. The school day went by too fast for me but I wasnt worried. We watched a documentary of the American Revolution which I know by heart now in history, in math we did crap that didnt make sense from the beggining, and in english... I never got why you had to take english, a language you've known your entire life. For PE we did Archery I had a knack for this but it wasnt my style. Now it's time 1 minute before school is out for today. When the bells rings I dash out of the class so fast there arent even people in the hallway yet. Then I spot her standing with her friends. She had bright electrifying blue eyes, her hair was in a ponytail from her in school practice, but her smile she had the most amazing smile ever. She had that type of smile that made you feel welcome where ever she was. As I walked up to her i didnt get this smile. Matter of fact i was the ONLY person who didnt get her smile instead she stared at me blankly. "Happy Valentines Day", she said with no excitement. "HVD to you too Ashley" i said almost too excitedly She shook her head and giggled, "Im sorry i forgot you name". "Ian its Ian", i said "Okay Ian what did you need", she asked. Now or never I told myself, part of me was considering never. I didnt care if the whole school sees me doing this. I took out the necklace I had worked so hard on. I had been trying to impress her for awhile so she probabaly had a hint that I had feelings for her. When I pulled out the necklace I could feel every eye of every girl dart right over to it even Ashley's. I held it out so it dangled by my two hands, "I made this for you", I said. "H-Happy Valentines day". I almost killed myself becuase of what she did next. She took the necklace, my whole heart basicly, put it between both hands and pulled it apart. After that right then and there i fainted. My heart felt like it was...well...ripped in half.... _______________________ Thats it Hope you Enjoyed
