Why do you girls always need to look better then the girl next to you? I mean, the macho image of guys is mostly false. I'm a guy like every other guys and I seriously don't give a fuck about how a girl looks like. ( I sure have some restrictions but I think that it's not my eyes falling in love, it's my heart.) Every females are beautiful. In all my life, I've never seen an ugly girl. I sure saw girls that were more pleasant to look at than the others but there's always a little thing that made me think 'Wow, that girl is beautiful'.
Your first sentence of the post is a stereotype. You'd be surprised by the amount of girls who value something more than useless superficial looks.
But could you tell me where are these girls because wherever I look, there's 10 barbies for 1 real girl.
But it's not the same in my high school. Image is EVERYTHING. Guys here are so judgmental. If guys just said what you did girls would go out a lot more with the guys here.
Sigh. Every person has their own tastes. Just because they try to look good doesn't mean they're trying to best someone else. Society's standards nowadays has made people insecure, so you can't blame them for wanting to look 'presentable' in front of people. Judgemental human beings are what's making this generation feel like crappy shit. You can't help but want to impress people by losing a shitton of unnecessary weight. Your opinion doesn't matter. They want to hear it from the magazines they read and the TV programs they see everyday.
Barbies even, they should make them in all shapes and sizes. Maybe then chicks would be less self-conscious about looking "pretty".
and to think we all thought we looked good in basketball shorts/ bum clothes with our hair tied up, like 5 years ago... society has really changed.
