We followed the petite woman to a room an the guidance office. She was so tiny....so small and pale...she honestly looked like a vampire. Her voice was so soft spoken, and her eyes were kind and blue. "Ok here's the list of classes and extracurriculars that we offer." she says quietly, handing me and my sister a list. We take the list and look at it. I honestly could care less about what my schedule was....I just wanted to be back in my old school. "Do you have show choir here?" I ask, perking up a little. I loved show choir, it was fun. "No." she shakes her head. "We had it last year but then the teacher who was in charge of it quit." she explains. "Oh." I reply sadly. Great now what was I supposed to do? That was the one thing I was actually looking forward to. I made up my mind quickly after skimming over the schedule. "I'll do Nutrition and Wellness for one of my extracurricular classes." I told her. She nods and writes it down. "What else?" she looks at me. I look at my list again and decide. "Art." I say, and she scribbles it down on paper. "Do you want to take a language?"she asks, ready to write it down. I nod. "Yeah I'll take Spanish. But do you have Spanish 3 cuz I already took 1 and 2 last year." I tell her. "Yes we have Spanish 3. And also we have Spanish 4 and AP Spanish too, just for future reference." She writes it down and smiles. "You're all set."She looks at me. "What's your name again?" "Jazmine Viera." I answer, watching her scribble my name at the top of the paper. "Um where's the bathroom?" I ask, dying to leave. I wasn't about to just sit there while my sister picked out her schedule. "It's just out this door to your left. You can't miss it." she says smiling. "Ok thank you." I say politely and smile back. I get up and leave the Guidance Office. "Ok to the left....." I mumble to myself as I leave the office. I look to my left and walk. Sure enough the bathroom's right there. I walk in and inspect the bathroom. It was ok, it wasn't super clean, but I'd seen worse. I used the bathroom and flush the toilet. I walk out of the stall and wash my hands. I dry them and walk back to the guidance room. Surprisingly enough, Melanie had finished her schedule. They were just saying bye when I walked in. "It was nice to meet you." The woman said and shook my hand. "It was nice to meet you too." I reply shaking her hand back. "So your schedules will be ready by the first day of school, you can pick them up then. The first day of school is August 22nd. You are to be here by 7:25a.m and the first bell signaling first period will ring at 7:30a.m. School ends at 1:40p.m. Any more questions?" she asks. "No." We all replied at once. "Ok well see you August 22nd!" She said cheerfully. "Bye." We replied and left. We all got in the car and drove home. I wasn't happy. School started August 22?! That was next week!! I had NO summer whatsoever! We packed, moved, unpacked, and now school started next week! Where the heck did my summer vacation go?! I got home and threw myself on my bed. I out on my music and thought about going to school next week. 'I'm gonna be so scared the first day' I thought to myself as I drifted off to sleep.
Yes finally some names ^_^ thanks. Ok it's good your doing a great job but I think it's time you bring in some action or at least start hinting of some upcoming action.
