Pet Peeves : The Forum

  1. Last day of summer for me, so why not make a thread?

Throughout the summer, I've seen things happen repeatedly that have turned into pet peeves of mine. I'm sure some/most of you will agree.

    1. When someone doesn't understand when they lose an argument

We all see this, there's always an argument about clubs, other people, spamming, etc. In every argument, someone has to lose...But the person who "loses" keeps rambling on and denying everything.

    2. When they're are threads that have been posted within the last week

This isn't as common, but it's usually game threads. If you're gonna post a game, make sure there isn't an identical thread on the first page.

    3. Spelling/Grammar fails

Every body makes spelling mistakes, but some people have obviously failed elementary school English. At least turn on spell check. Nobody wants to read a sentence with random capitalized letters, no commas, words spelt in some mermaid language, it's embarrassing.

    4. Fail Trollers

Some people, deserved to be trolled. But there is no reason to go to a thread that is well operated, and just make a fool of yourself. If you want to troll, I suggest you think about what you say before you say it.

    5. Memes misused

Everyone loves a good meme, but you have to understand how to use the meme. It's disappointing to see a meme used wrongly. If you want to learn your memes, they're are websites where memes thrive, you should study there for a bit.

I have more, but 5 seems like a good number. Leave some of yours below, and maybe the noobs will learn here, and become not-so nobbish forumers, if that's possible.

  2. I like it

  3. Noobs don't learn.

  4. But your right about trolling.

  5. You're* ;)

Well, something I don't like is (are?) pointless arguments.

  6. Nice thread, however, I disagree on the whole spelling/grammar part. Yes, it is easier to read or understand what someone is saying with proper grammar, however people need to get the heck over it. It is not the worst thing someone can do, so why focus on it so much? Does it make people feel like they have some sort of "power" by always trying to correct someone? You say how it is embarrassing when not using proper grammar, I disagree, if anything makes it embarrassing it is the fact that so many feel the need to correct the OP, and judge them on how they type. I find it wrong to judge someone you may know nothing about. Now I know there are many children on this game, which is a factor of why some type the way they do, however there could be an adult that does the same. They may have a learning disability and unable to spell correctly. It doesn't mean they didn't try in school or that they failed. Some people are just mentally unable to do some things, while dominating at other things. I find it wrong that so many are quick to judge on that, and that many really need to grow up.

  7. Please, think before you rant! It wasted
my life reading that. You should really think about
The likeliness of that actually happening.
If they had a disability in writing, then
    people could probably tell...
Younger children on this game are not necessarily
    Allowed...

and if people are intentionally spelling wrong,
    Then it's annoying
    good day

  8. I'm just saying, it'll be embarrassing if you're in an argument and u "tiep liek thish" No one will take you serious

  9. dO U lIkE dA wAy i sPeLl?

  10. That's your own problem Canadian. No one forced a gun to your head to read it, you did it on your own nosey conscious.

King, I know what you were saying, I just put my opinion in. Way too many are quick to try and judge someone else on here is all I was saying. 

  11. I mean, yeah. A few misspelled words here and there.. I get it. But I mean, there is a line. People who type words with numbers, say u instead of you, and capitalize the wrong letters in the words... That's just ignorance.

    "i liik3 th3 w@y i tiip3 doo u"

    That took effort.

  12. Myy summer. Ends. September 7

  13. Agreed Ari. I'm not sure why anyone would want to type like that, it seems to be way too time consuming lol.

  14. I think it takes more time to type with letters then to type normally 

  15. Numbers, not letters... 

  16. You a fine mother fucker, won't you back that ass up?

Candy corn. Why the hell is that shit fifty zillion times more sweet and pukeifying than it was ten years ago?

    Thats. Total. Bull. Shit.
