  1. There's nothing I enjoy talking about more than football, and partially because of the reason that I live and breathe the sport. I don't know how many of you are big time football fans, but I'm going to share some of my knowledge and opinion here. Feel free to give feedback (good or bad, idc).. I'm also curious who on here follows the sport like I do. So here we go.. my top 5 college football teams going into the 2012 football season:

    1. USC Trojans - USC is finally bowl eligible after their ban, and are aimed straight for the BCS Championship. The defense could improve a bit even with all 4 starters in the secondary returning this year (ranked 102nd in the nation in pass D last year), but the offense is arguably the best in the nation, led by QB Matt Barkley, WR Robert Woods, and new acquisition RB Silas Redd out of Penn State.

    2. Oregon Ducks - Not only are neither of my top 2 teams from the SEC, but both are from the PAC 12. Even with losing Darron Thomas and LaMichael James, the Ducks have the fastest and most explosive offense in college football. Speedster Bryan Bennett will be stepping in for Thomas at QB, and the backfield will be anchored by the return of senior RB Kenjon Barner and the Black Mamba, DeAnthony Thomas.

    3. Alabama Crimson Tide - The reigning National Champs lost 6 starters on defense to the NFL this past draft, but will no doubt still be among the nation's top defenses. The loss of Trent Richardson and Marquis Maze will hurt offensively, but QB AJ McCarron returns for improvement, and Eddie Lacy will be stepping in for Richardson in attempt to spark the offense.

    4. Oklahoma Sooners - Like many others, I see OU bouncing back strong this year after a disappointing 2011 season. QB Landry Jones, WR Kenny Stills, and RBs Roy Finch and Dominique Whaley will propel the offense, but what I think will make or break the Sooners is how the defense performs under new coordinator Mike Stoops. An improvement on pass D could mean big things this year for Oklahoma.

    5. LSU Tigers - I'm hesitant to put LSU in the top 5 with Georgia and Florida State knocking on that door. I'll get to the point, I just don't see LSU being as dominant this year. Their offense was and still is a wreck, and they lost CB Morris Claiborne and SS Brandon Taylor to the draft. And now Tyrann Mathieu is off the team, which is an enormous blow to not only the defense, but special teams as well. I don't see the offense being any better this year, and in my opinion there's no way the defense will be as dominant as last year.

    Predictions:

    National Champ - Oregon Ducks

    Heisman winner - DeAnthony Thomas

  5. UGA lost their RB Isaiah Crowell because of a weapons charge kambe... if they hadn't lost him I'd probably put them in top 5... as of right now, I'll stick with LSU tho with Georgia and Florida St right behind them.... altho I'm big on FSU every year but they always let me down.. FSU will be the team to beat in 2 years tho, they had the #1 recruiting class the past year by far and got some ridiculous good players

  6. Meh you failed at the start with your definition of football 

  7. L-I-V-E-R-P-O-O-L FC 

  11. Oh.... I don't know how to read. YOLO.

  12. Doesn't matter!

    We have Murray.

And Crowell didn't do shit last year.
    So, I won't miss him. He's soft.

  13. He spent have the season on the bench crying about his knee.

    Or whatever.

Murray was hit so hard in one game it flipped him upside down and he landed on his head. AND still played out the rest of the game.

    That's a football player.

  14. Nope chaos  just a FOOTBALL fan 

  15. kambe, last year was Crowell's first year, few players flourish as a freshman, altho his superior skill was undeniable, he was gonna be something special... it hurts Georgia now that he's gone, no matter wut he did last year

  16. If you had knee problems you'd know how bad it is to actually run with it  anyone can take a hard hit

  17. He'll be good when he grows a pair and takes a few hits.

  18. Nobody gets to the college football level without being able to take hits. 

  19. Scratch that Tom Brady and Michael Vick. And they made it past college. >.>
