Here is my opinion on all of this. Anyone can agree to disagree, since it is an opinion and so would anyone's else's so none of them would be wrong. Everyone is praising SBO for what they are doing. It is very nice to try to clean up the game and try to get it back to what it used to be..... However, all of this is looking like a game instead of trying to do the best for the game. If it was all about cleaning the game up everyone would not feel the need to post every single disban and every single screen shot. It has turned into popularity in my eyes and trying to look like the "best" instead of trying to do something good. Posting every last thing about it on the forum also isn't helping anything when clearly any dirty rp club is well aware of it and will not give up a club as easy as others have. I'm just getting tired of hearing that it's for the good of the game, or so many forum posts on the same thing. In my eyes as I mentioned it turned into a popularity thing and an attention thing. Just like when it is done, feeling the need to put on club art who all was involved, that to me is just an attention seeker instead of trying to make the game better, because honestly I feel that if it was for the good of the game everyone wouldn't feel the need to have to get attention or be praised for it. I am sure there are many mistakes within this post, since the new forum is horrible with not being able to see most of what is posted.
I don't think so Monster. I sort of agree with Jenni. Posting everything on Forums doesn't make it simple anymore. They know now. And it does look like attention-seeking, a little, to post every achievement here.
If you post for the sake of posting, it's wrong. Post to tell and inspire others that Dirty RP is wrong. And we should all disband them.
Idc if people rp or not. It won't effect how I play my game. If its not against TOU then I don't see what's the problem. If its against TOU then that's why we have mods and support. But how ever you want to enjoy your game then, have fun.
*Dirty Rp. Normal rp is fine. But dirty suggests something that breaks ToU. For example in the cc I'm in, they're doing some illegal stuff.
If its against TOU then a mod should handle it if it's brought to their attention. Otherwise, if it's offensive then just remove yourself from that convo.
Here is how I see it. Are you a police officer? No. Should you care about the "illegal stuff" they do? No. You break the law every day GUARANTEED. Imagine how the world would be if we took every law breaker, and held them accountable for everything they did wrong. Okay they rp. Big deal. If thats how they enjoy the game so be it. Others are right. We do have mods. But here is the thing. They arent breaking the rules if they do all of this in club or private chat. Those are the two ways to talk without being silenced in this game. How I see rp'ers in general. HALF of pimd does it! There is a section in forums about it! Clearly its not that big of a deal or the devs would disband all of these clubs theirselves.
What some need to realize is everyone is their own individual. You can't change what someone's does or how they live their life. You can only change yourself, and better yourself. Yeah it may stop someone for a short period of time, but it doesn't change them. Only them have the power to realize what they do is wrong and change themselves. Keep hearing it's against the law blah blah. Yes it is, but it is their decision, their choices and it will be their consequences not anyone else.
Well if it is about the popularity status or not, nobody seems to really be getting jealous of anyone else, everyone is working together as a team, everyone is standing as one, and are giving each other credit for simply disbanding clubs. Sure it might be harder, but it seems everyone likes the challenge, so it is whatever they make of it. The popularity isn't an issue, I've talked to several mods about it, and if someone is making too big of a deal out of it, they will probably end up being exiled on an island somewhere where they can relish in the fact their head is too far up where the sun doesn't shine. If it is a game, even better. People are having fun cleaning up the game, I think that is amazing. it's better than all of them tearing at each others throats. It's just a movement, and small organization to disband clubs, with the approve meant of developers. As door the screenshots and club art.. Who doesn't enjoy a little recognition? There's no jealousy or popularity, because we are all on the same team. Us against them. It's just interesting looking at who is becoming friends with who, and who is working on what. I'm enjoying watching everyone come together and work on something for the better cause in PIMD.
