Hello Friends, Family and PimD community Hola it's Bee. Or as I am more well known as -SummerGoziBear-. And like I said a LONG time ago, I will be giving you a daily (if I have time) Olympic update! Well. We had an amazing start to the Olympics today. I was lucky enough to go and see it myself, Rowing! Before I start I tell you about the sport, I have some Captions from various athletes. Stephanie Rice (AUS) Swimming: "I'm not worried about rising to the occasion, I love the extra excitement!" Tomoyuki Matsuda (JPN) Shooting: "Since Beijing 2008 all my efforts in training have been aimed at Winning a medal in 2012." Michael Phelps (USA) Swimming: " I always have to be the best, I just DESPISE losing" Simon Terry (GBR) Archery: "I'm sure the home support will spur us on. Hopefully it will be enough to win a medal Next I'd like to talk about last nights amazing start to London 2012. I was at home watching most of last nights Ceremony. It was gobsmacking. But I am from . I did feel perhaps some other countries may not have understood some of this "abstract" Stuff. All the same it was very amusing. James Bond and Mr. Bean made me laugh out loud. SPORT Since I was at Rowing I shall start with Rowing. This year Rowing is held at Dorny Lake. A huge lake with a nice atmosphere. All races are 2,000 Meters long. There were 15 Rowing Events today. Germany were in all 15. GB
We have lots of Chinese trying to defend their Weightlifting titles today. Example: Yong Lu, Hui Liao and Lei Cao. Thank you for looking at my news, ~Bee
Thanx for the tread Bee I did feel that the ceremony was "British" but ehh so what it's in London and they can do it however they want to. I loved mr. Bean and the James Bond segment lol
You're right lol I didn't get the beginning of the Opening Ceremony, understood after awhile. The Women's 400 IM I was really happy to watch a friend swim to first in her heat. Elizabeth will go all the way to the gold!
@ Hiil. Agreed! Spent ages going back to watch it again @Danzo, yeah I thought it was a Lil abstract. I'm from Britain and only just grasped it. I didn't see the Woman's 400
No kidding! My family was really confused for a long time. All swimming events are close. But she built a really good lead. I'll watch out for her in Lane 4
