Today it's the 22nd of July. For one year ago there was a terror attack in Norway. Luckily, I was in spain when it happened. A right winged person named Anders Bhering Breivik drove on the wrong side of the road into the city centre of Oslo in a white van. Inside the van was a home made bomb, made by diesel, one stick of dynamite and 500 kilograms of fertilizers. This mixture creates a pretty big boom. The van was on a parking lot outside a left-winged govermental office building. He ran away while the bomb was ticking and the explosion nearly made the whole building collapse. Also surrounding buildings. Glass shattered nearly 1 km away. There was a big whole in the ground. Luckily, no more that eight people were killed, but there were hundreds of lethaly injured people. About an hour later he reached a summer camp for young supporters of what I don't really know is called in english, but it's one of the things you can vote for to control the country. He was dressed up as a police man so that he gained their trust. In his bag he had several guns. He suddenly started shooting at the teenaged supporters on the camp. He shot to kill. He had special made bullets that were made to deal extra much damage. He managed to kill 69 people (all in between the age of 10-20) before he was caught alive by the police. 69 young teenagers who had so much more to live for. A friend of mine had lost three of her friends. This will never be forgotten. I will never forget it. Thank you for taking your time to read this. Feel free to post your opinion This is a serious thread, so please be so too. And yes, I'm back, but I'm leaving again soon.
Two years ago I went to Oslo for a summer camp. I remember last year my mom was so grateful that I went a year earlier. I know someone who was there. I know her because we are part of the worldwide organization which sent me to the camp. She told the rest of the organization that she was there. She remembered calling her mom, hiding under a bed, not knowing if that would be the last time she'd see her. That is so tragic. I can't even explain my sadness right now and then. Even with the Colorado shooting, my heart literally breaks just thinking about it. None of them deserved to die. This act is only done by a cruel, heartless person. Today, hundreds or thousands of people are mourning. And I'm part. :X
