So I am a HUGE fan of Christopher Nolan and I was EXTREMELY excited hearing there was gonna be "The Dark Knight Rises". FIRST OFF! I've already seen it. Went to the midnight premiere. Pure awesomeness! But in my opinion out the three batman movies he's made The Dark Knight is my favorite, and, IN MY OPINION, the best one put of the three. SECONDLY! If you came out of that theater thinking "I was so confused!" or "I didn't get it!". That's because you are probably one of the fans of The Avengers and Transformers. You expect to see explosions and fights the first fifteen minutes. Christopher Nolan is a really good director. He MAKES YOU THINK! He makes a simple story line into a complicated movie and what not. HE MAKES YOU THINK! If you ever seen Inception then you know what I'm talking about. He's a complicated movie marker. And I respect that because nowadays people just want explosions, fights, bits of comedy, a hot chick, and futuristic technology to make it look cool. Now don't get me wrong, The Dark Knight, Inception, and The Dark Knight Rises all have that. But in a more complicated way. Which is what I love about Christopher Nolan. He doesn't show it off and try to shove all the cool looking stuff in your face! He makes them there but they are minor. THIRDLY! The ending of The Dark Knight Rises. Now it kind of pissed me off. But at the same time.... I won't say anything because I'm afraid I might ruin it for some people so I'll just leave it at that. NOW!!!!! This is my opinion. I'm not saying you have to agree with me BECAUSE YOU DON'T! Feel free to post your opinions down below. Try not to make an argument Also one more thing... CHRISTOPHER NOLAN FO LIFE! Peace
I was torn between Banes/Talia's/Catwoman's moral values and Batman/Blake's They both had legitimate points about humanity
And I also liked how Nolan showed that humanity is incapable of handling much of anything if they automatically throw restraints out the window and surrender to complete hedonistic, carnal desires, such as doing whatever they want just because they can with disregard to other's well beings. That also shows confliction and begs the question, do we need (corrupt) baby-sitters because we can't handle ourselves yet or is there little to no faith in the fact that we actually can handle it and take back our control? Good brain food Nolan gives *om nom nom*
Not a lot people got to enjoy the movie. Theatre Colorado Shooting. It's so sad, why would someone do that.
