-Rose's POV- W-what? If Katerina says so, it's always true. Her guts never tells her wrong. But why Keith... why my boyfriend? "You can't be serious, Kat!" I forced a laugh. "Rose, I would never be wrong. Rose, he's the root of all my sins." She sighed. What sins...? The murder?! "What do you mean?" I said cluelessly as my heart shattered into the ground. "I just figured... When daddy first came home and met Leo, he was fine with him. And Keith was not there!" She whispered loudly. "But when dad came home the second time, Keith was there! I was talking about Leo a lot at dinner and I felt Keith clench his fist in anger..." Is this all true, Keith...? "What...? Oh my ******* gosh." I said. She nodded, "that's not all! Ro-" I cut her off by hugging her. "I'm sorry Kat." I sighed, "you must've been hurting." "Well, of course Rose." she smiled in grief. I looked at my watch trying to find ways to get out of that room, "I gotta go. I'll see you later, promise." She nodded and we hugged. But no I wasn't going back to the hotel just yet. I left the room as I searched my way into Leo's study. I opened the big door and saw him there reading a book. "Babe...?" He smiled as he placed it down and grabbed me. I forced a smile. "Hi." His face only an inch further from mine made me blush hard. He planted a soft gentle kiss and I responded. But then I remembered... SMACK! "Fuck! What did you do that for, baby?" He called out in pain. Tears streamed down my face and I glared at him, "Now I know why you don't want to tell Katerina that it's always been us. You never loved me, didn't you... Keith? All three years, everything was just a lie...?" "What the fuck Rose?" He screamed. "What? What? IT'S ******* TRUE, HUH? YOU BASTARD!" I tried to slap him but he caught my arm. "Don't do this Rose. I love you." His voice so sincere as I looked into his eyes. "I-I..." I stammered. "Stop your lies Keith. It's ove-" "Rose...?" My head turned as I saw Katerina staring at us. -BTN- Something seems wrong. I thought. I looked at Rose as she leaves my room, there was something suspicious. I could tell... or is it just me? I sighed as I closed my eyes again. Her expression... I couldn't take Rose off my mind. I stood up slowly still feeling the pain. "Fuck." I whispered loudly. I walked slowly and silently, hoping Rose wouldn't see me following her. But I found something that made me smile. But what...? Tears... Why is she crying? I saw her turn to the left of another hallway, "That's not the way out..." I screamed in my head. Just where are you going, Rose...? She stopped in front of my brother's study... Why is she there? I looked at her from afar as she went inside the room. I listened to their conversation but this certain statement caught my mind, my heart, my soul... "Now I know why you don't want to tell Katerina that it's always been us. You never loved me, didn't you... Keith? All three years, everything was just a lie...?" Rose's voice was full of anger. I've never heard her so mad before. I unknowingly entered the study, staring at the both of them with pure hatred. Keith because he'd always been an asshole. Rose.. my dear Rose, because she broke a promise; a promise I couldn't take. The promise I never thought she would break. "I will never tell lies. I promise to tell you EVERYTHING. I love you, Katerina. See you soon." Those words before she left meant everything to me. It's so important to me that it sounds crazy. "Rose..." I finally managed to utter a single word that broke me out of my speechlessness. "Ka-Katerina..." I glared at her as her eyes in horror. "Kat," Keith said as he let go of Rose, "hey." I soften my glare and slowly went near them, I know it killed them with fear. The fear that I would commit another crime. I took out the knife I saw as I was walking down the hallway. Keith really did get it. And too bad, it's back to me... again. I smirked, "Don't worry. I'm not gonna kill anybody." The sound of the grandfather clock rang on my ears, tick tock. Slowly, feeling the pain deep inside me, tears flowing; I laughed out of nowhere. "Out." I said as I glared at Rose. There was no way I could... hurt her. My best friend. The only one who understood me at my worst. I love her. So much even if it means killing the person who've hurt her all along. She stared at me for a long time and out she went. I could hear her footsteps running on the hallway. Don't call anyone... please. I prayed in my head. I slammed the door close as I wiped my tear and looked back at Keith. "Brother..." I sighed. I'm sorry, I just have to do this. I'm so sorry.
